Bravo confirms 'Project Runway 3' scheduled to air this summer

By Steve Rogers, 04/25/2006

Although Bravo isn't yet formally confirming the show's exact premiere date, it looks like the third season of the network's Project Runway hit reality series is tentatively scheduled to premiere Wednesday, July 12.

While a Bravo spokesperson reached by Reality TV World on Tuesday would only confirm that Project Runway 3 will definitely air this summer, industry trade publication ads for Project Runway 2's upcoming DVD release -- scheduled for June 27 -- appear to have let the cat out of the bag. According to a Project Runway Season 2 DVD advertisement published in this week's issue of Video Business, a Daily Variety publication that covers the home entertainment industry and is targeted toward DVD retailers, Project Runway 2's DVD release will be "just in time for the TV premiere of Season 3, airing July 12 on Bravo."

Regardless of whether the July 12 date proves accurate, today's response to Reality TV World's inquiry about the premiere date cited in the Project Runway 2 DVD ad marks the first time that -- as Reality TV World speculated when Bravo first announced that it was renewing (http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/bravo-renews-its-project-runway-reality-show-for-third-season-3998.php) the Emmy-nominated series for a third season -- the network has confirmed that it is planning to air Project Runway 3 this summer.

As Reality TV World reported in early March, Project Runway 3's casting application -- also released on the same day as the renewal announcement -- had revealed that unlike the show's first two editions that used New York's Fall Fashion Week (an event that takes place in February) as the backdrop for their finales, the finale of Project Runway's third edition is tentatively scheduled to film at New York's Spring Fashion Week, a September event.

Based on the show's previous scheduling, the finale change was a strong hint that the network was planning to premiere the third edition of what has become far and away its biggest hit series sometime this summer. Although still unconfirmed by Bravo, the scheduling change would also seem to indicate that rather than continue to air on the once-a-year schedule used for its first two editions, Project Runway will also be moving the twice-a-year format typically adopted by most popular reality competition series.

Assuming Project Runway 3 premieres on July 12 and has a fourteen-week run similar to that of Project Runway 2, the edition would broadcast its finale in early October -- a timeframe that would still allow the show to take a two month break before broadcasting a fourth installment during the same winter timeframe in which Project Runway's first two editions aired. As previously noted, both USA Network and The Sci Fi Channel, two of Bravo's NBC Universal sister cable networks, already use similar summer/winter scheduling strategies for several of their own premier original series.

That is odd. I don't like when shows air 2 or 3 times a year. I like it to come on once a year. It sucks waiting but its so worth it. So I wonder when they will do the finale this time? Obviously there wont be a big NYC Fashion Week. Maybe they will have someone doing a Fall line and they will show then? Hmmph..

So I don't know if this was mentioned in another thread, but Season 1 finalist Kara Saun did a show at L.A. Fashion week. You can go to Getty images.com and find the photos. She got rave reviews and her collection was rated as one of the best. There is a small video here

I always knew there was a reason I liked her. Sorry for the late information if it was already posted.

This batch seems a lot older and more sophisticated. But what I want to know is, where is Daniel Franco!? Note that we've got our first black male designer of the series (Michael Knight) and Kanye... is white! You can also check out this season's runway models (http://www.justjared.com/pictures/photos.php?yr=2006&mon=06&evt=projecy_runway_3_designers&pic=z-project-runway-3-02.jpg). This season's winnning designer will be awarded a mentorship with Macy's private label sportswear line, I.N.C. International Concepts. I.N.C.!!!!!!! Hahaha, that is so SAD! [quietly sobs for the winner] Project Runway 3 will premiere on Wednesday, July 12 @ 10PM ET/PT on Bravo. More pictures in the gallery! (By the way, Heidi Klum is pregnant again (http://www.usmagazine.com/blog/2006/06/20/us-exclusive-heidi-klum-and-seal-expecting/).)

EARLY FAVORITES :: Keith Michael (http://www.justjared.com/pictures/photos.php?yr=2006&mon=06&evt=projecy_runway_3_designers&pic=keith-michael01.jpg) and Bradley Baumkirchner (http://www.justjared.com/pictures/photos.php?yr=2006&mon=06&evt=projecy_runway_3_designers&pic=bradley-baumkirchner01.jpg)

Project Runway on the Rooftop (http://www.justjared.com/gossip/2006/06/project-runway-season-3-episode-1-pictures/index.php)

The very first pictures from the premiere episode of Project Runway 3 are here! THIS SEASON IS GOING TO BE SO SEXY. I CAN FEEL IT IN MY BONES. Here are some random observations: Heidi looks her usual drop dead gorgeous (http://www.justjared.com/pictures/photos.php?yr=2006&mon=06&evt=project_runway_3_season_3&pic=project-runway-season-3-06.jpg), Alison has very well-manicured nails (http://www.justjared.com/pictures/photos.php?yr=2006&mon=06&evt=project_runway_3_season_3&pic=project-runway-season-3-07.jpg), something shed on Katherine's t-shirt (http://www.justjared.com/pictures/photos.php?yr=2006&mon=06&evt=project_runway_3_season_3&pic=project-runway-season-3-08.jpg), and Ulrike is wearing an interesting sheer leaf-patterened shirt (http://www.justjared.com/pictures/photos.php?yr=2006&mon=06&evt=project_runway_3_season_3&pic=project-runway-season-3-09.jpg). And have you seen the line-up of Project Runway 3's models (http://www.bravotv.com/Project_Runway/season/3/models/)? I honestly don't think the selection is as great compared to previous seasons but my early favorite is redhead Amanda Fields (http://www.bravotv.com/Project_Runway/season/3/models/Amanda_Fields). Redheads rule.

Pictured above left to right (with the Empire State Building in the background) :: Angela Keslar (http://www.angelakeslar.com/), Michael Knight (http://www.knightrideronline.com/wiki/doku.php?id=knight_rider), Keith Michael, Alison Kelly (http://www.dahlclothes.com/), Kayne Gillaspie, Jeffrey Sebelia (http://www.cosanostrainc.com/), Laura Bennet, Tim Gunn (http://www.bravotv.com/Project_Runway/tims_take), Heidi Klum (http://www.heidi-klum.de/), Malan Breton (http://www.malanbreton.com/), Bradley Baumkirchner (http://www.mountainsriversandpeacocks.com/), Ulrike Herzner (http://ictv1.com/videos/fashion/fashionartball8_uliherzner.html), Katherine Gerdes (http://www.portfolios.com/profile.html?MyUrl=katherinegerdes), Vincent Libretti, Bonnie Dominguez (http://www.bonniedominguez.com/index.htm), Stacy Estrella (http://www.estrellacouture.com/), and Robert Best (http://www.angelicdreamz.com/store/barbie_Robert_Best.html). Tragedy Strikes Project Runway
(Spoiler)

Season three of "Project Runway" premiered on Bravo last night, but a tragic accident marred the finale of the Heidi Klum show.

Designers compete for $100,000, a car and other prizes, while their model wins a spread in Elle magazine.

Hungarian model Jia Santos (whose real name is Eliza Jakubek), 18, became one of the three finalists. But near the end of taping, she was struck by a bus while riding her bike to the show's location in the city.

"She was dragged underneath the bus," her agent, Avenue Models' Javier Hernandez, told us yesterday. "She fractured her skull and her eye socket and was in critical condition for three days. Now she has been in intensive care for a month."

Her first words upon waking up, Hernandez tells us, were: "Am I still on 'Project Runway'?"

Santos still appears in the show, and her accident is explained during the finale. Hernandez said she was modeling to support her parents in their Hungarian village.

"Everyone from the show has been really supportive and offered their help to get her parents a visa to visit her in the hospital and work on a benefit for her," he said.

I honestly don't know how Vince survived, considering it was just about as tacky as Daniel Franco's innovation dress in season 1.

I must say, the designers look alot more impressive than last season's, which might explain why their are so many arrogant pricks this season, but whatever.

The designer who created the ugly hat should have went.

I agree! And when he said that he second guessed it.. what utter BS! He had said before he thought it was perfect. It really pissed me off that the really different designer was in the bottom two but yet that HIDEOUS hat designer was safe. Oh boy, did that piss me off. I had said to myself that if the really different designer lost in the first round I would seriously stop the DVR from recording the rest of the season and would boycot it. I mean seriously!

That man with the hideous hat should have been gone. Period.

Who is the "really different designer?"

I think they sent off Stacey because she didn't know how to use a sewing machine.

im glad that the 'different' designer didnt leave. i can see him doing some interesting and creative designs in later shows. and i also dont buy keith's 'this is my first dress ever' crap ever because that dress was too well executed to be anyone's first try. crazy hat guy is absolutely nuts. im looking forward to him having some crazy ass breakdowns this season. i also love malan's posh, stuckup attitude (although his laugh is pretty creepy).

Both Angela and Vincent should have been eliminated today. They have to be kidding with that green dress, it looked like a high school prom dress. Malan's dress was pretty shitty too, but at least he owned up to his mistakes.

Angela and Vincent's dress wasn't TERRIBLE, apart from that weird thing going on around the shoulders. It certainly wasn't going to win, but the guy who got eliminated created absolute shit. He deserved to go.

Vincent was in a very tough spot. It was clear that Angela had no idea what was going on, so he had to take complete charge and push her out of the way. Anything she did was going to make it worse, but he also came off as a tyrant in the process.

I was surprised that Vincent's dress received the praise it did. Miss USA called it classic? Well I'm not a fashion expert that's for sure, but to me the dress seemed way to plain for a Miss Universe Pageant and the color was ugly i think. And Angela, she just sat around like a girl at a new job, overwhelmed and overlooked, not doing a damb thing and taking crap from Vincent and everyone around her. This girl won't last long.

A Note From Angela

hi scarlett, t-bone and laura k,

...i am getting so much love mail and hate mail right now ... so this letter is for people who are open to an explanation.

i'll start off by telling you what i told tim gunn: it's not unusual for me to be misunderstood because i don't edit my enthusiasms very well. i really wanted to work with kayne because i wanted to bond with him creatively and personally.
http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/3172/996/320/AngelaDanielFranco.jpg (http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/3172/996/1600/AngelaDanielFranco.2.jpg)
when we met, we became instant best friends, laughing until our sides hurt. but my behavior put a wedge between us and understandably so - i realized at a later point how it looked (that i would want to be on his team because he was a pageant designer) and i apologized, telling him that i totally understood that he would want to choose robert. i was horrified that i had not considered how i was coming across. there is an old adage that goes: "think twice, speak once". well, needless to say, that is not one of my strengths. i knew i was getting on his nerves and when he said it to the camera, i wasn't surprised. that is my only regret on this show: that my behavior turned away a very warm and hilarious friend. this is unbelievably difficult to dish, but i wanted to give a shout out to hopefully clarify this situation.

in regard to my not sketching a design, it wasn't because i was giving up on the challenge. it was because sketching is not generally a part of my creative process. inspiration usually comes from the fabric itself or a specific feeling that i want to embody in the clothes. not all designers use sketches to convey their vision; i've read that yohji yamamato and isabel toledo design by conversing with their patternmakers (isabel actually tells her husband how she is feeling and then he sketches it out for her). and since i've produced my own line for the last 7 years, i've never been required to provide sketches.

in regard to vincent, there was a breakdown in communication coupled with high stress levels and i shut down. this was a huge personal failure and i know it. unfortunately, in the moment, i did not know how to handle it. the reason i was so vocal about his design was because i thought that both team members would be eliminated. and i was afraid of being eliminated by default. standing on that stage under those lights, in front of people who you feel have already convicted you, is truly harrowing and i wouldn't wish it on anybody. i felt as if i was drowning.

this was my huge lesson: i was acting out of fear and when you act from fear instead of love, you are guaranteed to mess things up. i understand why some people think i should have been off the show - i didn't want to see malan go, either.

thanks for reading,
angela

Vincent's dress was horrid. I get the feeling they praised it just to be contrary and teach Angela some sort of lesson. I don't understand why Laura chose a color so close to white when she said she didn't want a white dress. I was sad to see Malan go, but he didn't listen to the instructions. He did the opposite of what she wanted with that bulky top.

Angela, I love you. Go "feminazis"

I really really liked Kayne's dress. First, I just have to say, I finally watched this episode and finally the record's been straightened for me that his name isn't Kanye. lol.

But anyway, his dress was just so Miss Universe. It was just so fabulous and and enchanting with the jewels at the top and elaborate bottom. I loved it. I mean, Miss Universe is freaking crazy. There's always some impossibly beautiful chicks from like, Dominican Republic and Colombia and shit who don't look human, they look like supermodels who should be in Victoria Secret and their dresses always looking amazing on them 'cause they are like, 5'10, and they wear the dress, the dress doesn't wear them. LOL. That's why Miss USA never wins. Because she never rocks it like those girls. So I think she picked Kayne's dress because he knew Miss Universe to be like that, and how stiff the competition is and how you seriously have to look like Barbie. It's just the most high stakes pageant ever and his dress is gonna make her such a diva and stand out. I don't think any of the other dresses ever saw the pageant before. LOL. I am so excited for Kayne. I love him

From the first episode, I really like Robert and Michael's dresses, and the guy who won's dress. But I think Robert should have won the challenge. The back was so darling. The blue dress was wonderful and all, but Robert's was just so chic and adorable.

I agree. Well, I don't think Malan created absolute shit, but I think Vincent's dress wasn't terrible. I can see the Miss USA in it and I see her looking darling. But I see her in it for Miss USA, not Miss Universe.

And everyone keeps saying that Angela did absolutely nothing. Of course the show is gonna edit it to look like that, to look like there was absolutely no communication whatsoever between herself and Vincent. LOL. Televison... so fake

angela should have gone home. her story was pulled straight from her ass on that runway. french art camp assistant director? she should have just said "childish whore" or "eccentric ho" it would have been better than her bullshit

*sigh* angela needs to leave. i'm finally seeing the mental basketcase that is vincent. I really love uli, michael and kayne and i wish michael would get more praise for his creations other than just gliding through each challenge. i have a love-hate thing with keith. he's an arrogant prick, but there's something about him that i really really like. bradley's garment was a little reminder of daniel vosovic's tulip garment from last season.

I was amazed that they kept raving about Bradley's dress. Was I the only one that thought it just looked like a hot mess?

Uli's dress was fab though. She deserved to win.

As much as I like Angela as a person, she's just not a very good designer. She's been in the bottom two for 2 or 3 of the episodes so far (and we're very early into the season). The skirt was OK, but the top was just slutty...and she said it was for a birthday party for 6 year olds? Is she out of her mind?

I felt sorry for the girl that went home. Her dress was plain, but I'd rather have plain than a complete disaster. There were at least three or four other people who should have been sent home before her.

Bradley shouldn't have been in the top 3, the only thing about the outfit i liked were the colours. Michael should have been in the top 3, his dress was awesome. I dont understand why they haven't focused much on michael either, his outfits so far have been beautiful, especially his coffee filter dress which i think deserved the win. I also LOVED allison's outfit this episode. everything about it i loved, the jacket, the dress and styled with opaque tights made it something i would want to wear. As well, i just adore allison's style and want to know where she buys her jackets cause i want them. Speaking of style, Angela has none. why is she still there?

This when you can ee how reality tv works. We know Angela and Katharine won't win but they keep big nose for she is an easy target because she is a delusional idiot. Kat's dress may have been plain but it was better than Angela's. To eliminate her over an unfinished hem while the other outfit was just nasty and void of taste. Unbelievable.

Last week was the right choice. The hoodie outclassed and outshined the entire drab unispired dress.

Angela's outfit was creative and lacked taste. Creative will outshine drab and boring anyday. Angela's outfit was not great but her shirt and the skirt were made well. The other dress was not sewed that well and I find it hard for her to sew a ruffle hem like Angela did.

Keith's dress was beautiful but his ego is pathetic. He is good though.

Marla from PA may be the one you're thinking of. And Emmett wasn't the best sewer either. According to Zulema, Emmett and Marla were the last to be picked for teams in the Banana Republic challenge because
A) they can not sew
2) they're dead weight

i think. i just wanted to type the A)....2).... thing
i'm going on a tangent. but the PR application does ask if you know how to Cut, sew, draw and patternmake.

If you go on the Project Runway website, they actually auction off all the dresses that are made on the show. The winner of one of the challenges had his go for about $600.

It's easy to execute flawless designs when you've got a How-to Manual hidden away. I would like to think Keith is a very talented designer, but if you really have substance then you shouldn't need all that fluff: charms, excuses, and manipulation.

Here's the thing about Angela: she is unpredictable and that makes her interesting. When she made that awful purple taffeta skirt etc., last week I was curious to see what she would come up with next. That's sort of what fashion and art is about right? It gets your attention and gets you talking about it and you want to see more.

Nina Garcia...bad day? bad week?...

"It was boring."
"Didn't you guys notice this?"
"Bonnie...I HATE the fabric of those pants. They're dowdy."
"It was over when I saw the cowl neck and the brown pants. That's it."
"Who does cowl necks anymore?"
"It was cheap."

Damn, Nina.

I LOVE LAURA. She has some of the best one-liners.

Yes you are right. If Angela didn't have the team, her three piece would have been a total disaster. From the previews for next week you can already see from the reaction of the other contestants that she returns to her crappy self.

And the reference to Wendy Pepper :haha: Hilariously true. This season so far is pretty trashy I have to say. I hope it changes.

I've only got two words.

Michael. Kors.

actually, i have more than two words, BUT...wasn't it great to have Kors back? everything to him was "insane" tonight.

MICHAEL KNIGHT. I'm not a fan of pink. or hot pants. but Jesus Christ! I would have worn that because the proportions were perfect. he really does a great job construction-wise. And, let's not forget that his icon was PAM MOTHERFUCKIN' GRIER.

A few tears dropped when my Bradley Baumkirchner aka my weird ass stoner was out.
With malan out and now bradley, i only have michael to love. i'd love kayne more if he weren't so...out there.

DVF is so silly.

I'm with heidi on angela's dress; it was cute and actually fit the audrey hepburn style.

It's great that Bradley's gone. Talk about clueless and spaced out.

Robert said his aim was not to be boring, yet he ended up making an almost exact replica of the crap he did for the previous challenge.

Glad Mike won too; he has talent and versatility.

I like the daring aspect of Kayne's Marilyn dress: very modern and risky with the goth.

Angela has really reigned herself in nicely.

Jeffrey is just as arrogant as Keith was, which I don't understand because all he seems capable of doing is sewing scraps together.

I think Laura did a wonderful job of capturing Katharine Hepburn. I loved her outfit.

Alison is pretty strong, but I find her to be too understated. She needs to inject a little more life into her designs.

The weakest designers left are:

Jeffrey
Robert
Vincent

What about Uli? You didn't mention her. I think it's fitting because she's been forgetable to me. Other than the challenge she won. And I think she can only make dresses. I want to see her do pantsuit.

Oh yes, Uli. There was nothing different or eye catching about her dress, except for the color and again she just kinda mixed patterns. Overall I thought she was average this week.

I loved when Heidi said to Bradley, "You had Cher. You could have done anything." Haha.
It's true though.

I didn't comment on Vincent either. It soooooo obvious he just tried to recreate a look that went with the picture he had of Twiggy. He was basically talking out of his butt at the judging. Poor thing. How can you not know your Fashion Icons is this business? :tape:

Ugggh I hated how they voted of those 2 models. I wish they let them pick their designers and the designer that has 2 models choose them, decide their fates. That would be more entertaining and fair.

Sigh.

As much as I thought that Allison really had nothing creative to offer, I was interestingly sad to see her go. And I think she went because her model looked "fat."
Vincent's been in the bottom three a few times. Alison's been in the top 3 a few times. What the hell? She goes home because her model looked like a "plus size" model? So a "plus sized" model would basically be the equivalent to the average size 4? 6? I'm completely confused.

Next week's challenge is for the everyday woman. Maybe "fat" or "plus sized" models would be a bit more realistic for this.

I'm sorry. I know Heidi is a model, and a good one at that, but...VINCENT IS FUCKING NUTS. His model could not walk. His dressed looked like "an explosion...a bad science project" (thx nina)

Kayne surprised me. Michael made me proud to be a fan. Laura made me laugh non-stop during this eppy. Her diatribe towards Vincent at the end was CLASSIC.

Ok. I'm done. Disappointed, but done.

Oh, one more thing. did anyone else laugh out loud when nina gaaaaaaaaaaarcia said that kayne went from "marilyn monroe to franken-STEIN here." ? because i did. i'm surprised she knew what it was.

We know there are three really good designers here: Michael, Laura, and Kayne (despite his recent cock-up). Maybe the producers realize this too and everyone is disposable and can be used as pawns. Otherwise I don't see how they could value Vincent over Alison. She performed badly in the challenge as Kayne did, but they BOTH should have been excused in light of their overall talent and vision. All I'm left to think is that they just did this to shake things up; make it more interesting.

1. Michael
2. Laura
3. Kayne

4. Uli
5 Angela

They've got a good top five/top three here. They probably don't care about anyone else.

That's what I was thinking. Like, the producers or judges or whatever know who's the most talented so the order that the rest leave the show doesn't really matter. But they like to make it as controversial as possible.

allison has done much better in all the previous challenges then vincent and yet she gets kicked off instead of him? it does not make any sense. i really thought vincents dress was far worse because his model couldnt ever walk because the dress was made so badly.

Aug 18th, 2006, 01:59 AM
The motto of the show is "Fashion...one day you're in, another day you are out." Or something or rather. But I think that contestants should be rated on their overall performance. Just because Alison did a bad job in the last challenge, she has shown how talented she can be in the other challenges. Once again I am totally confused with this season.

allison really was robbed. i have no idea why they picked vincent... i really feel like it was just for ratings, because even though the minnie mouse thing made her look fatter, i'm sure 90% of girls would rather wear that than wear what vincent had. And to make 90% to 100%, all you have to do is slim it down. Also, i do feel vincent has something in him... i just feel that right now, he isn't thinking enough... i feel like he is just trusting whatever comes to his mind and just splats it on. His dress was ridiculous, there was absolutely no thought in it, and i think Heidi Klum lost a bit of her aura because she felt what Vincent did was pushing the envelope. Thats not pushing the envelope. Yes that's taking a risk, but all he basically did was make a dress out of paper, throw completely random crap, randomly on her, and hope that his model doesn't rip it by making her walk as fast as a snail. Anyone can "push the envelope" like vincent did, and would actually do it if their mind was blank and were desperate enough to defend a thoughtlessly random design as art.

the tatto guy should also have won the challenge. i thought michael's design was good but the plastic thing seemed poorly executed to me.

i do think jeffrey was a bit rude towards angela's mom after tim left but that is only because of angela's mom behavior and because she pushed him with her action.

first off Jeffrey is a grown-ass man who is responsible for his own rude behavior. They told the mom's to tell the designer's what they want and his AA ass couldn't even handle having a customer that didn't fit in his niche.

I can say if that was my mom crying, my project runway experience would be OVA, cause I would've tried to put my foot up his ass. You don't disrespect someone's mother. Jeffrey is a paranoid ass. Angela is a punk ass cause you don't let someone punk your mom like that. I bet he wouldn't have acted that way to Michael or Laura's mom.

He was in a snit cause he got called last and he got Angela's mom....BooFuckingHoo.

first off Jeffrey is a grown-ass man who is responsible for his own rude behavior.

He was in a snit cause he got called last and he got Angela's mom....BooFuckingHoo.

and then with all that shitty attitude he had the audacity make a shitty garment.

vincent and angela should have been eliminated a long ass time ago. they have no business being there and they have absolutely no talent. they have just been kept around for their drama. jeffrey was right. angela's mom was such a drama queen and she over-reacted tremendously and shes annoying. no wonder angela is the way she is. jeffrey bought two of the three colors angela's mom told him she liked and she has the nerve to not tell him she did not like the outfit he was making, but when tim comes around she berades the dress and disses it. what an unpleasant woman.

i do think jeffrey was a bit rude towards angela's mom after tim left but that is only because of angela's mom behavior and because she pushed him with her action.
you cant be serious. she was asked her opinion and gave it. first the breast feeding thread, now this. seriously if you dont want to hear someones opinion, dont ask for it. but abusing little old ladies for answering a simple question is just disgusting.

seriously people like that should not be let out in public, if you want to go crazy talk to your own mother like that and leave everyone elses alone.

just sick. i dont even know who got kicked out. i was just. not even mad, just done. if someone talked to a potentional co-workers mother in such a manner he should be done on the spot. i dont care what angela is like, her mother didnt do anything to warrant that, and she didnt deserve that, nor would something like be remotely acceptable in the "real world". all that for answering a simple question in a polite but honest manner? come on.

as far as the breast feeding magazine thing goes my opinion is that it was a bautiful picture and very nice and that anyone who seriously complained about needed to get a life because they have none if they complain about things as natural as breat feeding (conservatives).

uli is the fucking shit  she should have won :fiery: vincent's dress was not even cute

and yes, jeffrey needs to go to, but i still can't get over that there are only 7 or 8 designers left and one of them is vincent. he should have been the first one gone; everything he touches turns to crap

anyway kayne has cooled off significantly from his good start to the show, and there is NO WAY jeffery/vincent/angela will make the final three, so i think we'll be looking @ designs from laura, michael, & uli during fashion week  all of them are very very talented...

It better be Michael, Uli, and Laura in the final three.. I love all three of them.

So true. If he made my mom cry that way, he wouldn't have both hands to compete next week.

Once AGAIN I am completely baffled this week. I mean, seriously, what the heck is up with this season? Jeffrey should have been off the show for that behavior. And the judges all praised Uli over and over and over, and then announce Vincent as the winner...umm ok. Whatever, this season is just total crap. The mother theme started off as if it would be cute and something new, but it ended with me feeling total disgust, just as all the previous episodes thus far.

She may have said that.. but Tim asked her! It was her right to tell him how she felt, and it was also her right to tell the judges how she felt.

For people to have a backlash against her just baffles me.

Seriously, what's the reason behind it? Because it's not like she went over to the table and said OH MY GOD!! THAT DRESS IS FUCKING HORRIFIC. I WILL NOT WEAR IT!!!!

I mean, I could have understood the hard and cold demeanor with which he spoke to her. He was DOWNRIGHT rude. Seriously.. I don't give a damn if he was a junkie before... but you think that would make him be a little nicer now.

I think Uli is WAY better than Kayne!!My Top 5:

1. Laura-i love her one-liners(granny circles lol)
3. Michael- Hes really consistent and hes an excellent constructor of clothes.
2.Uli- I love her designs everytime from the first challenge till this one!!
4. Used to be Alison but i guess now its Angela.
5. Kayne- no choice but to chose the annoying pageant watcher.

I just watched the episode last night and I am in total agreement with these statements. Angela is a straight up punk ass becuase if someone made my mom cry like that, especially when she said that she felt humiliated, Jeffrey would have gotten karate chopped in that big bull neck of his.

Say what you will about me but mess with moms? My disgust with Angela intensified when she just sat there rubbing her mothers back making excuses for that punk. His mother's excuses were pretty deplorable but you could tell she is a snob in denial that she has a loser for a son.

Everything else was bland and unexciting.

Tonight was interesting. I just love Laura! Kayne needs to get his designs tighter or else I expect to see him out in an episode or two.

How ironic was this episode for the people who watched? lol.. the winner vs the "out" person.

:| Kinda ill about it, I wanted the other person who she said to win!!! That would have been AWESOME.

worse episode EVA. :o

Gosh, Jeffrey has sooo much work to do on his soul. He's a very insecure man. The jealousy all over his face when they praise Michael is just telling.

Dementrova, they had to design a international jet set outfit for themselves....then they made them fly to Paris where they find out they will be designing there but first they eliminated a designer ...... which was Angela because the dummy chose Linen fabrick? :tape: She was a wrinkled mess without even commenting on the style of her outfit.

Kane needs to get that white trash thing out of his head cause he's now designing for white trash. :help: I couldn't believe he made a modern day Elvis outfit. :o
