My dad wanted to know who my mother was talking to on Yahoo! and he spend hours trying to find out. He finally did it, but my family doesn't know how he got into the system so deep. Anyone know how?

I don't know how to find out if you're not using a message history. But if you do use a message history you can find it back even if it's removed.

I don't know but it's creepy that your dad is being so nosy.

That's my opinion on it too. That looks like a jealous-possessive man there. Hope that's just what it looks like and not reality.

Is your mom in trouble?

No. :D

My parents got divorced at the beginning of the year. My mom was talking to her friends in Montreal on Yahoo! and she wasn't doing anything with them. My dad was being possessive/nosey and wanted to know if my mom was talking to guys. So, he got into the hardrvie and I want to know how.

How distressing, troubling, disturbing, upsetting, disruptive, intrusive, perturbing, troublous, disquieting, unsettling and worrisome.

ON MSN, right click on whatever contact you want history for and go to "View Message History"

On Yahoo! do the same thing.

On MSN, I'm unable to click on "View Message History".
1.) right click on the user
2.) select "View"
3.) under the view options, select View Message History

If you cannot click "View Message History" then it might have been disabled. If it was disabled when it was installed there should be no problem, he didn't find anything from there.

That's how he found out who your mother was talking to on YIM, it's in the registry.
