I voted "Rush, Rush" but I love "Vibeology" and "Straight Up". And I remember being really young and trying to walk two steps forward and three steps back. I didn't get very far...

This is like asking which was the best beating your parents ever gave you. :haha:

The Way You Love Me is probably the catchiest, but it also upon further review seems more like a converted show tune from the 50s, so I'll just be boring and go with Straight Up - it had a cool video.

The only song I like by her is "Str8 Up". I love that song. The others, meh.

Cold Hearted Snake because I love the video! Didn't really like Paula's songs but her videos were very entertaining. :yeah:

Cold-hearted snake, look into his eyes...

Paula used to be my favorite singer back in her heyday; that being said, I must say upon recent listening that Paula's songs have not aged well (her voice was so squeaky! funny I didn't notice back then). However, "Cold Hearted," "Straight Up," and "Rush Rush" are still pop classics.

Glad it got there safely :) Loving 'Shine' by the way - I'm having a very big Cyndi revival phase at the moment.

Its good isn't it?..although I dislike the first few tracks...but love "Rather Be With You" and "Eventually". It is such a pity the album wasn't given an airing.

Sorry for highjacking this Paula thread Hot 92 Jamz. Forgive me.:)

'My Love Is For Real' is from the 3rd album 'Head Over Heels'. It was a single in the UK and my Guinness Book of Hit Singles helpfully tells me that it charted at #28 here way back in 1995.

Fantastic

"My Love Is For Real" is my fave song. It was a sultry and sexy number to mark Paula's growing maturity as a pop artist. It was released a couple of years after her divorce from Emilio Estevez. This was in 1995 with the release of what would be her last album "Head Over Heels." Her last single release was "Crazy Cool" from that album.
