It was an inner ear infection that sidelined her due to balance etc.

Oh, that just sucks! Where did you hear she was injured? I haven't heard anything in the news, I thought she went straight to Japan from Korea? I'm hoping it's just a rumour. It would be awful for her to endure another injury.

I just checked the schedule for the Kangaroo Cup and Alicia is DEFINATELY playing! Her arm must be ok, which is great news.

Her first match is tomorrow (2 May) against Casey Dellacqua. I can't wait to see the result, especially considering Casey was chosen over Al in the Fed Cup.

everyone has a hard time getting back on their feet after an injury though right? i cant wait to hear more of her results as time goes on! how come she didnt get a protected ranking?

she will when she goes back onto the wta tour. atm she's just doing ITF tournaments
