Last year Dina was the doubles hero in the finals against France. This year she's going to do the same :rocker:

I think Dinara should have been chosen for the match against Kim. I don't know if she would have won, but she wouldn't have been wrecked by nerves because she has experience in Fed Cup and she pushed Kim just recently. As for doubles, they were expected to win no matter who they faced, in my mind, so I'm glad they did. :)

I also think Dinara probably would've been able to challenge Kim more than Maria did.
Anyway, they both did great in doubles. For the honour :)

I entirely agree about Dinara being the better choice against Kim. Dina has the experience and she's proven herself to be a tough opponent on the clay.
She's still a bit of a headcase though, so maybe that affected the decision?
Still a nice win in the doubles for Dina and Makiri. :worship:

Dinara won't be playing Fed Cup against Croatia this month. In a Russian article posted in GM, she said she's too tired.
I was looking forward to her playing.

Same, I was looking forward to Dinara consolidating her position in the team. But not to be.
