It's not much but here is my little report:

This match was surprisingly long. Mara came out ON FIRE. Patty looked like she was still asleep, and didn't recover until about the middle of the first set. Mara wasn't missing many first serves in the first set, and Patty was having huge problems even returning it.

In the second set, Patty started positively, getting her anger out in her shots. One time, when she hit a winner down the line to hold serve, Patty yelled out, "FINALLY!" Unfortunately, Patty played a loose game at 2-2, which Mara eagerly took advantage of. And that's when it started. Mara's serve completely went away. Patty really picked up her game, noticing the drop in Mara. Mara never had a match point, so she didn't technically choke.

Mara was bit fiery. She was yelling, throwing her racket. She kept yelling out, "FORZA! FORZA!" Patty really found her forehand, and started thinking on the court. At 2-1 in the third set, I was 100% sure that Patty would win.

And Patty is realy from Basel! We are in Kanton Schwyz for the lower taxes. ;)
And it`s also nice there.

I love it when Patty is actually thinking. She is one of the Top Three players in the world when she is playing like that.

I think she has proved that she is a huge contender for Roland Garros.

just an amazing match both tactics and execution wise. We all knew it was possible but whether she was actually going to do it, nobody could have predicted. Those breakpoints she saved in the fourth game of the 3rd set were so intense.
