Quality there is not as good as in the real La Place restaurants, but it's still pretty good yeah. Though waaaaayyyyyyyy too expensive ;)

Yes. It was right on your left-hand when you entered the park  There was no avoiding it when you entered and left the site.

Anyways, La Place is also the V&D Restaurant. It's quite good, so should you ever be in a V&D, you should try it out ;)

I like it at Rosmalen too, but I only ate there like twice, cause it's much too expensive.

DutchieGirl
Apr 17th, 2006, 11:13 AM
oh OK - I didn't know that! Thanks for the info! Maybe i'll try it out this year! :D

Bijenkorf Restaurant in Rotterdam is more expensive and not as good as V&D Restaurant, IMO, Mandy. But I have heard other people think differently. Both are nice to go to, though ;)

I don't go to Rottingdam - unless Leimonias make Eredivisie finals! :D

By the way.. No Nadia Petrova

I am sorry for the Nadia fans visiting the tournament, but I am not sad she is not coming.

Her site indicates she will go to Eastbourne ;)

yes, but there are alot of other players in my sig that you didn't mention, so I wondered why you picked those?

Like hellish expensive? And you mean tickets are costly, or staying/food/lodging?
Merci.

Tickets are REALLY expensive for what the event it. Sunday and Monday are 25 euros per day, Tues/Weds 30 euros and Thurs-Sat 40 euros! Granted, it is mens and women's, but damn, a ground pass for the AO is cheaper than even the first 2 days of Rosmalen!

Wow, that's a bit steep... but for a mixed event on grass... It's probably actually worth it w/the fields they get on both atp/wta. :)

DutchieGirl
Apr 22nd, 2006, 05:46 AM
hmm I dunno about "worth it" but I'll pay it, coz Misa's gonna play!

You also skipped Klara - she won last year... :p

CooCooCachoo
Apr 22nd, 2006, 09:10 AM
Oh yes, Klara always comes ;) Of course :p I skipped the entire green line, actually. Cause it is a bit hard to read with the blue background.

DutchieGirl
Apr 22nd, 2006, 10:16 AM
Hmm I have the grey background, and you can read it fine then! :p

CooCooCachoo

you got it! :p

So I hope Klara will also come! :D And ALG, Meghann, Marta... Misa's already of course... :p Maybe some of the juniors will get WCs... really hope Renee would, but probably not.

I think they will give a WC to some player that is not Dutch.

I think this year the field will not be very interesting, to be honest. I hope it will be, though  But fewer players get in straight away (30 places, I guess 4 Qualifiers and 2 WCs, plus at least 1 ITF Tourney winner leaves 23 places at most). Let's hope the list will be good !

DutchieGirl
Apr 24th, 2006, 01:10 PM
Are they giving the top 4 seeds 1st r byes then? Didn't remember they did that last year. (Probably coz none of the top 4 seeds there interested me  ). There's usually 3WCs isn't there? And why does there have to be an ITF winner? :p

CooCooCachoo
Apr 24th, 2006, 05:37 PM
No, the top two players get a Bye, hence the 30 places ;)

There is usually one or two ITF winners. I think it is Prostejov and uhm some French tourney, I think Joue-les-Tours. Last year Aravane got it ;)

hmm yeah, but now they have quallies, so maybe they change it to a quallie spot. ;)

ahh bye for the 1st 2... that sounds right!

I don't know if they will chang it  I don't know how to find out either. I hope not, though.

By the way, it was not Joue-les-Tours, but Saint Gaudens. Last year, Aravane won that, the year before it was Kirilenko. And both got a feed-up spot.

btw; feed ups this year:

3rd April $25k Putignano - quallies feed up
1st May $50k Gifu - MD feed up
8th May $50k Indian Harbour - MD feed up

so I guess Aravane won't be geeting that feed up this year Tijn - but maybe she can play quallies! ;)
