He did this song "oh la la bébé" "cest dur dur detre un bébé". Anyway, this kid made millions in the 80's, and now that he's 18, theres about 50K or maybe less for him - not even enuf to buy an apartment. Sounds like his parents or manager stole him blind. Very sad, millions were made on this kids back, very very sad.

I think i was in college at the time. It's so sad, somebody took his money. Sad to see child entertainers get dissed like that.

Who is the man in your avatar?

Yeah i heard him the other day on Fogiel's show. He is not broke, he made quite a bundle from a cheesy reality (aren't they all) show. But yeah, he does not have royalties from his hit songs which were stolen by his Pop. But If I was his Dad I would have done the samething. Jordy did not seem to get along well with his Dad. If I did not get along well with my son, I would not give him most of the money on the other hand if we were close then yeah I would.

He should get a reality show with Gary Coleman. That would be hot fire.

Are you serious? People paid a kid millions to sing? Ok.

No LN he is broke, he has but tens of thousands of dollars, not enough to buy even an apartment.

So if your son made you millions of dollars you wouldnt give him any if you didnt like him? So youd make millions of dollars and then give him nothing cause he is not someone you like? Remind me not to be your son if that COULD ever happen. your logic is fucked up. if you dont like the kid dont get rich of him, just get him out of your house

Call me Dad. ;)
What I am trying to say is that it is easy to make his father the villain when we really do not know both sides of the story. In my last message I said that if I was his Dad and we did not get along I would still give him some of his money. Remember the Dad was his producer so he is entitled to some of the money even though legally all of the money really belongs to Jordy since at that young age he could not sign a contract with his Dad on how much he should get.

its just sad when parents profiteer from kids. you know, we really should be satisfied with a full belly, some good books and the chance to do sports like tennis and other activities. What happened to the Bear Necessities. Jordy surely earned millions of dollars and the least his father could have done is to provide an account so Jordy could have a great apartment where he wants, a car, and paid education and some spending money. Children are our most valuable resource and its sad when you see one obviously exploited.
