i am just shocked! I thought she never toured? I mean, this is hardly a tour. But, I didn't know she even had concerts. I know she has played festivals here and there. Anyway, she should tour the U.S... like a tourbus and everything... be a true rock & roller. But I don't think she could stand that for more than a few days. Come on Jenny from the Block

This tour has been a long time coming. Should be a great show based on J. Lo’s rep and she has the money, the backing and lots of hits to make her concert on par with Madonna’s or at least Janet’s. :) I’ll be surprised if she doesn’t do any North American dates and be skeptical about that decision.

where did all the haters come from?

J-Lo will sell out wherever she tours, whatever city...
I just hope she comes to L.A...and brings that sexy
husband of hers with her.

Apparently she's releasing a new album this year and is also going to be releasing a spanish language album as well.

As for the random tour dates, I think J-Ho realises people are on to her musically. Her last album tanked in comparison to her other ones and she knows that the only way to help her songs sell is by touring. That kind of involves knowing how to sing though and anybody who has witnessed the few times she has performed live:tape: The woman either lip synched or completely butchered the rare times she tried to actually hit a note.

I'm assuming that she actually took the time to learn how to sing in the last two years and wants to play some venues where the media won't be all over her ass while she's still learning the ropes in case it doesn't work out yet.

To be fair to J.Lo, she isn’t the first nor the last ‘vocally-challenged’ singer to tour. Maybe she’s going first to those cities to work the nerves and the kinks out (they won't be as critical as you said) before she comes home for the U.S. dates of the tour.

They used to say the same thing about Janet Jackson.

Jennifer is more a performer than a vocalist.

Between J-Lo's costume changes, razzle-dazzle lighting, backup singers and dancers, I am sure J-Lo's fans who pay to see her will be more than satisfied. That's all that matters when performing live.:wavey:

I’m not a huge J.Lo fan but I know she’s artistic so it's guaranteed that her show will be visually exciting. Her fans will eat it up! :)

Yep, can't say I would ever pay to see J-Lo in concert or buy one of her CDs.

But she is a sexy and exciting perfomer who knows how to give her millions of fans what they want.
