he is such and adorable little puppy!!!!

i want one!!! (in the city park!!) there are so many acres there i think they should of let the puppy stay... looks like he was going to make a meal out of one of those over pampered mid-manhattan dogs and he already did the city a favor by killing a pigeon!!

I can't believe those people on the bridge weren't running. They just moved over to the other side to get a better look at him.

gotta admit that he's one cute little guy

yep but noo yawkars aint regular people. we are a little desensitized. it takes A LOT to strike fear into the hearts of new yorkers. some of my friends they would of only run if
1- it wasn't a cute puppy (which it was)
2- it was carrying a loaded gun

ALBANY, New York -- A coyote that was caught loping around New York's Central Park last month died of heartworms, exposure to rat poison, and the stress of his capture and handling, state pathologists reported yesterday.

The coyote led police on a wild chase before being shot with a tranquillizer dart March 22. But it died March 30 as it was being tagged for release.

Gabrielle DeMarco, a spokesman for the state Department of Environmental Conservation, said, "His poor health, coupled with the stress of captivity and handling during the release, led to his death."

The year-old coyote had apparently wandered into the big city from the suburbs.
