Sharapova for the title?

this will be a big test for the russian beauty. she is coming off very good form at indian wells, and is im sure brimming with confidence. however she does have quite a tough draw with hantuchova or kirilenko in the 4th round then possibly venus, and then kim. will sharapova finally have her breakthrough win off kim, and if she does will she have enough left in the tank to beat justine/amelie. of course we have no idea who maria will face in the final, but justine has never got past the quaters here and is the only place masha ever beat the belgian. also amelie has a draw with a possible ivanivic match, which could be tricky. so we may not even have a justine or amelie in the final. so i think if maria can get past kim she will most likely win indian wells.

also if you look back to the usopen maria was not playing nearly as well as she is now and the match still went to 3 sets. i think sharapova may just be good enough for kim at the moment and even good enough to win the title.
but what do you think and why?

yeah but i cant believe somone thinks consistent maria will lose early on or to venus for that matter! not in both current forms anyway!

looks like a toss up between
Clijsters, Mauresmo, Henin and Sharapova
right behind Dementieva and Hingis
I am still hoping that Vaidisova will break through one of these days.
it will definitely be tough here.
