wayyy heeeeeeeey

Everything is set and ive finally received full confirmation that i have been accepted for my journalism course at JMU.

Been torn for months between 3 courses and still not 100% if its what i want to do, but feel its an interesting area to cover and something that will be a fresh challenge.

Just thought id let you know anyway, it wont change your day im sure but still, im on top of the world :)

Don't unconditional offers mean you don't need certain grades?

Anyhoo, congrats <!Society!>!! :yeah: I'm at uni in Liverpool, you'll love it! :bounce:

I had an unconditional offer to do Drama & Film at Aberystwyth in 2001 (won a scholarship), my A Level grades didn't matter but I still had to pass them. Was really great not to have the pressure of getting certain grades! Shame I left after a year ;)

Congratulations <!Society!> :bounce: :yeah:

ive got the grades already took a year out between a levels and uni. Im surprised i got accepted because the spec says you need experience in working with media with which i have none or a PR event, the only one ive helped with is the Liverpool International tennis festival, and also need an A level in Media, were as i only got mine in travel and tourism, PE, and an AS in english.

Must have been the covering letter that done it for me, but that was entirely based around sports as i applied for 5 sport courses, then journalism just for the sake of it to fill in the 6th space, and now thats what im gonna be doing. could be fate.

I'm glad for you. I initially wanted to do journalism myself, i even had some stuff published.

But i'm happy for you too. Congrats. If you take up the offer, i hope you really enjoy it. Journalism still seems so interesting to me.
