Do you think Kim Clijsters will be in a good physical shaper for the Miami tournament ? She said she needed a rest “to get rid of all the tiny physical problems” (ankle ? hip ? anything else?). How is she doing ? Any news ?

this is her most recent diary entry, sounds good! :yeah:
Started training today
Three weeks of rest did me well. Today I started training again and now I'm slowly building up towards Miami where I'm hoping to play quite a lot of matches.
It's been awhile, but I really took time off after Antwerp. I've been at home a lot, did daily stuff (cooking, playing with the dogs,...) and went to Switserland for 2 days with Brian to rest and to walk in the mountains.
Today I started training: I played tennis for 2 hours. Tomorrow 2 hours again and this way we're off again. I will head down to Miami on saturday where I can prepare myself better, I'll only have to play my first match at the end of the week. It'll be a lot nicer to train there in sunny temperatures!
I have the feeling that I have let my body really come to rest. But I will know that for sure once I've trained more intensively for a few days. And the head is completely empty again. That was necessary after Antwerp. Just to have a few less people around me, no press...Although it's quite surprising to read an exclusive interview of me in a weekly magazine today without having talked to those people;)
I'll be in touch again when I'm safe and sound in Miami!
Greetings <<<---------------- :p

:) Kim is so great at keeping her fans informed! I really love that...I hope she plays well at Miami, I hope she gets to play Martina, Justine or Maria along the way, to see how match fit she is, P
