My boys from Cincy got cheated. How in the world does Air Force get in over them? Anyway I like UCONN, my tarheels, Nova, West Virgina, UAB, Duke(As a tarheel fan I'm obligated to not like duke), UCLA, PITT, BC, and UCLA all to do very well. I wouldn't be suprised if any of the above teams won it, but if Allan Ray's eye gets better Nova will be tough to beat especially with that 4 guard offense.

State has their own problems, they'll only go as far as Drew Neitzel takes them and so far this year that hasn't been very far. I like Ager, Brown, and Davis, as a whole I like state, but everytime I watch them I wonder what their offensive strategy is. I see Ager and Brown coming of screens and I see Neitzel dribbling the shot clock away. They are a sleeper and can go far, but Neitzel will have to give them something on the offensive end for them to do that.

I will try to get some people to understand why Air Force(and Utah State) got in.
Air Force did not play anyone but who really would or wants to.
A win at Air Force or at home doesnt really help anyone.
The fact is the MWC and WAC even as top 10 conferences doesnt get to play any of the big teams, to the East or West.
Noone wants to travel to hawaii, New Mexico, Utah, etc. and they dont want to travel half the country either.
So the MWC and WAC does their best and schedule conference tournis when they know the committee is up watching them and still trying to figure out the at-large perspective, Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
Partly because of tradition from the old WAC and partly because it is an advantage.
The committee has admitted that it watches everything but it really looks at the later weekend games closely because of what changes could be made even if most spots are already figued out.
The WAC and MWC hasnt gotten less than 3 bids this entire decade.
The committee has always had a sort of love relationship with the WAC.
Remember when the WAC split up into 2 (WAC, MWC), the committee could have just taken an at-large bid away but instead decided on a play-in game.
What did that keeping of an at-large bid do?
Basically guaranteed the MWC and WAC at-large bids.
Its never a secret that one team from either conference is one of the last 4 teams in the big dance.
Was Cincy cheated? No because they have more opportunity to beat the big teams while WAC and MWC have a geographic disadvantage.
The committee had already decided that the Syracuse/Cincy game was a bubble burster for the losing team.

I'd take Missouri State over Air Force because they have a stronger RPI. IMO there were more qualified mid majors to make the tournament than Air Force.
