It was fun for the whole of 2004/2005 and I enjoyed myself a lot.

But I gotta say there is some management problems. There has been late scoring point updates for weeks.

Not being rude or anything to anyone but i agree with NEW, last week was bad i didnt even know who was playing who, i had to dig to find it and nothing was updated regularly.

I like this game and ive only just started so i dont want to get anyone off guard but we atleast need the matches updated on first post.

I agree with what's been said. In the future, unless there are any other possibilities you can think of- tournament managers who show lack of commitment should have their duties suspended from CAD. If you aren't going to show some dedication when you commit yourself into coordinating a tournament, well you should at least give others this privilege. I don't mean to sound so officious (though I suspect my tone completely contradicts this) but in the general interests of CAD, better management really is required!

There are also two ways to do scoring points
A) add the combined ranking points of two players
B) add the combined ranking places (like done in the WTA drawsheets)

B would be more easier, but A would be more accurate I think
with using A I would get for Peschke/Schiavone v Krizan/Vanc 7 - 14

I know this sounds mean but I think if marcobarella is going to make the tournament threads, he should be commited to updating it. 6 days later and there isn't even a commitment list, or even a title.
Obviously, this week's manager can't be here for doing his job. Maybe the CAD of this week should be cancelled. :shrug:

I know the formula used to calculate them. But I don't have the time to run the tournament all the week (I mean, doing the ranking, etc.)

CAD sucks this year!!! LT are made after few days,there is scoring points when matches are finished and now there is no even entry list ...there is only strange comments from managers when you say something bad about the management ... Revolution is comming :lol:

That's only for a small minority of tournaments. Mommiej, Benjiboy and jtammer in particular have very good organisation skills. All I ever hear from you is critisism, if you feel this strongly then why don't you take the issue into your own hands?

Well at least you dont deny the facts :drool: What do you expect to hear when everything is a mess?Cant you see the post above?I like the idea of that game but something have to be done soon!
No I cant coz I have not the time.If I know how to calculate the points I can do that but it seems to be some kind of a secret!

I think CAD needs improvement, I`m luckily in Bogotà now, not everything is a mess but it can be better. Last week I don`t know there scoring points, that`s why I finish 16th.

Well... I did enjoy the game...:sad: I had my fair share of fun...

Maybe I'll just come back to play all those that I'm defending Champion and see how it goes... just a few tournaments... I din really win a lot of tournaments... so ... i'll try...

the thing is ... i have a new work... and everyday i'm out at work and when i come back, i will sleep... so at the most my computer hours is about 5-10 mins... especially during the early weekdays...so i tend to lose out if i din really pick....so i can't really commit everyday...

plus... there is some problems also... with the CAD sometimes... so I guess, it's me that gave up...:sad:
