Navratilova wants to play a further year! I read this on ZDF.de (http://www.zdf.de/ZDFde/inhalt/9/0,1872,1000041,00.html).
She will play with Liezel Huber in Dubai and Doha, but she thinks about, to play with Martina Hingis after that.

As long as she is not losing first round everytime in doubles why not play? Go Martina!!!

The Martinas would be a great draw for doubles. They could even win now and then.

I have some qualms about Martina squared for doubles. Both of them have survived in the past several years by partnering with a stronger baseliner and handling themselves at the net. While I think they would be an amazing team in terms of aesthetics and talent, I don't know whether two players without a great deal of experience at the baseline in doubles would succeed together.

On the other hand, Hingis did play amazingly with Kournikova, who was hardly a baseliner.

I'd like to see it, but I won't believe it till they win a few!

I doubt it. ;) And the two Martina's together could be an awesome team to watch. Two very skilled players that know every shot in the book.

The woman will play until they need to put her in a wheelchair, and even then she might commit to the wheelchair events of the Grand Slams.

Let's hope so. Doing what you enjoy doing for as long as you can. That's what it's all about.

I agree, not sure about them either. If they were to play, Hingis would have to be the aggressor!
