i think a confident 2 set victory will give her a lot of confidence....

i mean she has won some three setters but they have all been scrambbled affairs.
She should just close out the match.

Tough to call.. Tati hasn't really been playing well lately, but her first round scoreline was promising. Same thing with Mirza, she just beat Pennetta which I wasnt completely expecting her to do. Tati will have the crowd, but I think Sania's agressive game will help her on the quick Paris surface. I'd give Sania the slight edge, though it's a tossup. I love them both. Hopefully Sania can pull through though.

Golovin will pull this one out. She always plays great at the Gaz de France and she'll use the crowd to back her up and pull her game together to beat Mirza. Either way I like both girls so I don't mind much who wins this match, but I'm pulling more for Tatiana, she needs to start getting on a roll now and get herself ranked inside the top 20.

Not sure if I agree that she has been so great in Gaz de France. Let's see. Last year quite close matches with Mamic and Bremond, big deal. Then she found herself in the third round against an injured Farina Elia. 2004. Struggled with injured Smashnova, then walkover before she beat Dementieva, which of course is a good merit. Then she won 4 games off of Pierce in the semi. She's had good draws in Paris and that is why she has reached two semis there. Tomorrow I'm afraid it is over and out for this year. She has struggled lately, and was almost taken to three sets by the totally out of form Domachowska. Her confidence is low, and then Mirza will prove to be a hard nut to break.

this is really a tough call...surely a big part will play,who is able to get the better start,and dictate the match.but improvement-like,there is really not much between them...

That was because Sania has so many fans. Combined with the fact that Tati was slumping lately, Sania got the majority... I wish her to succeed but not against Tati :lol:

although i am a big sania fan,i am equally happy for tati,because she didnt have a lot to laugh in the past months,and she needed this very much to build herself up!so,in all fainess:chapeau,tati-baby! :kiss: :kiss:
