Note:

Very weird that three people from France, none of whom are regular voters, start voting and all vote for exactly the same people.

Note that any attempts to get people to vote are not allowed and if caught, the players that are being 'sponsored' will lose by default.

Note:

Very weird that three people from France, none of whom are regular voters, start voting and all vote for exactly the same people.

Note that any attempts to get people to vote are not allowed and if caught, the players that are being 'sponsored' will lose by default.

Sorry Tijn but you're sometimes a bit :cuckoo:
That's the OPEN GAZ DE FRANCE thread!!

I know Mat, but they all posted within ten minutes of each other and posted exactly the same votes. That is a bit odd

And in any case, a reminder does not hurt

It might raise suspicion certainly in first rounds, when there are more matches. It can be coincidence though. But it is not allowed to get people to vote for a certain player. People should vote when they want for the player they want.

If they didn't want them to win, I dunno how they could have been forced to vote

Of course you can tell people that the vote is on, and if they happen to have the same preferences, that is no problem. It has happened in the past though that certain people got their friends to vote for a certain player, mostly in a final. Then you get like 12 votes for that player in a real fast time, which kind of ruins the game for the people who want to vote.

When we notice it, the ultimate thing to do, is cancelling (part of) the votes. And I know, situations are not always clear, but the game should be fun for everyone, not a small elite group.

If people want their votes to be taken into account, the only thing they have to do is voting earlier next time  (I say it to myself so often :p )

The game should just not be influenced, it has nothing to do with dictatorship. We allow a lot. And it does not really happen all that often, so no need to get worked up over this.

If someone posts, in for instance the Hantuchova forum, that people should vote for Hantuchova, this is not allowed and is ruining the game.

In such a case, measures will be taken ;) :armed:

But in general, there are no problems :D
