im not sure but unfortunatly i think it will drop to #5 as kim will be #1 for sure(but not for long with her injuries), then mauresmo #2 then davenport#3(not for long as she got to the final of tokyo last year and has pulled out, and also did well at miami and indian wells, and might not play them?) justine #4 after getting to the final and maria #5 for getting to the semis! i do not think these rankings are a fair reflection, but when are they except when maria's #1(nah not true, im afraid!). maria will need to win tokyo if she wants to raise her rankings, as they will stay the same if she wins, and overall she has 300 points to defend, and getting to the final will only get her 210 points so she needs to win, after that not sure whos going to be playing indian wells and miami but maria must have a good shot at those too. does anyone know how slow or fast these two surfaces are as i know tokyo is fast, and also does anyone know will eurosport be showing any coverage of tokyo next week, thanx and one final thing anyone know when the draws being released?

I'm pretty sure Masha will remain in fourth.

1 Clijsters - 3527
2 Mauresmo - 3377
3 Davenport - 3013
4 Masha - 2780
5 JHH - 2578

I'm not really concentrating on her ranking right now, or on Miami for that matter, just the next tournament

Lol, I sound like Maria now

I think Justine needed to win the Final to get to Number 4. keeping in the top four is quite important because it generally gives you a better draw in slams. (if Maria had had 3 rank at the Australian Open now....)
