I think Tamira Paszek will win it.My vote goes to her

She is so strong.

Despite possible match with #1 Wozniacki, she can win.

And runner up from other half will be either Raluca Olaru or Alize Cornet ;)

No wonder to see Eggy voting for Nastya :p

But she will ( not hopefully ) ran out of gas and heat will get to her at one stage I think, already played few matches to win a event last week,so,no further than QF IMO ;)

Hopefully Morita back to her form, she has been doing quite bad lately...But she are used to heat since she is a Asian,I think she could take advantage of it.

Amina is the sixth seed here but not in the poll

sadly there are only 10 options.
i could have put her in, but for who ? (Ayumi has lost 1st rd in last 3 juniors events also)
Olaru not been past 1/4 of her last 7 since RG final last June.
thats why i put others.

I'll take a chance with Sorana Cirstea. She's been the most consistent as of late (beside Pavlyuchenkova).

Is it me or is this the weakest slam in years? Most of the players are 15 years old and Paszek is probably the star of the draw. No Radwanskas, Dulgheru, Glatch, King, Buzarnescu, Kleybanova...

The 1989's players were so great. Now that they are all on the big tour, this australian open draw looks like a 10k.

Australian Open is always like this.
last yrs players have gone, new players come to the fore
come Paris, these will be the players that are shining.

There are some older players as well, besides playing juniors into your 18th yr doesnt look good.

If Misa Krajicek or Vaidisova were here, one of these would be the winner.. The girls in the poll are going to be the top10 at the end of the year. Some of these girls are gonna be the Misa/Nicole of 2007.

yeah - some people don't entirly understand the juniors circuit.
it's about learning the game and having a competetive surrounding that can teach you and push you forwards, not just winning the junior slams.
some of them might be the misa/nicols of 07 - but more importantly, they will also eventually be the complete top100 (well, not all of it, but i'm talking all junior girls in general, as the girl's tour is getting stronger and stronger, and gaining recognition as an important step to women's tennis)

coming down to the wire now.
first big test for nastya, Paszek/Wozniaki should be a thriller.
it's a great juniors event this time. i didn't like most draws last year as they were too predictable, as aways when some juniors dominate.
