Some silly questions:

1) When is the Turin Olympics going to take place this year?

2) I remember hearing a while back that this is an Olympics that is mainly in Italy but also in Austria. Is this still true?

Competitions will take place in Turin/Torino and in a number of resorts scattered all over the province - alpine ski in Sestriere and surrounding area, cross-country, biathlon in Pragelato, freestyle in Sauze d'Oulx, bobsleigh in Bardonecchia and so on...

And curling in Pinerolo :p
Bah, who'd want to go there
J/K :p Good luck to Torino and whole Italy with their olympic games, let's hope María José Rienda gives Spain a gold medal in Giant slalom :bounce:

:secret: Shhht... they don't want too many tourists over there :p
Apparently curling tickets are the closest to being sold out... while there are still many available for other disciplines such as hockey - and it doesn't surprise me, since for the final they ask about 500 €
María José es muy maja y me gustaría que pudiese ganara una medalla... seguro que será una batalla con la Kostelic, la Paerson y todas esas que fisícamente son dos veces más grandes... :tape:

I can't wait for the Olympics but I'm a bit pissed off that I'll miss the second week (and the Ladies ice-skating!!!) cause I'm going back to Florida for a couple of weeks. Meh! I missed most of the Athens Olympics for the same reason.
