CROATION BOL OPEN LADIES
"When I came here I didn't expect anything, so I didn't play under pressure" Svensson said.
Sweden's Asa Svensson, winner of the Croatian women's open 2002 WTA tour, takes the trophy from Croatia's famous tennis player Goran Ivanisevic in Bol on the Croatian Island of Brac on May 5, 2002. In final match Svensson defeated Croatian Iva Majoli 2-1 (6-3) (4-6) (6-1).

Thanks Alx :D I know what you mean.
I got to meet her at AI and got her autograph after her first win in qualies. Was surprised after watching her play there that she has not won more tournaments. Took a bunch of pictures. She looks like one of my co-workers. Is a killer doubles player too. Have visited your site and enjoyed it and thanks for the updates for her tourneys.:D

I read an article a while ago on Asa and how the Federation snob her for a place in Olympics and how they ignored her because the Federation is concentrating on men tennis, now good for you, hope you have more success in the future.
Alx, congrats as well, as her no. 1 supporter I am glad you can find some reward now, (but maybe she can win something big next time :) )
