Firecracker Mistake Costs Tampa Woman Four Fingers

TAMPA, Fla. -- A firecracker mistake cost a Tampa woman four of her fingers.

Fire officials say the 48-year-old woman was trying to light her home when the power was out and reached for what she thought was a candle. But once she lit it, fire officials say she blew off four fingers because it was a firecracker and not a candle.

The unidentified woman was taken to the hospital.

No...

Retards who keep firecrackers out where small children and the apparently not-so-smart can hurt themselves with them should be banned.

Sad story :(

But why would you have a firecracker lying around in the open at your house anyway. If it was Victoria day or some sort of celebration that warranted the use of firecrackers, then I would understand.

While the story is upsetting, for some unknown reason, I'm laughing my head off. This reaction disturbs me, but I can't help myself

Yep, those glow-in-the-dark vibes can be quite tricky if you're not careful. You can certainly blow something up.
