I have a pair of them in the same color, but I wouldnt nearly call them the most popular shoe in America. They are much more popular in like Britain.

Well they were originated in England a long time ago and I see Clark's boutiques all over the place when I go to England and Scotland so I would assume so...

I've definitely heard of them, had some I think, and they were VERY popular around about 1978 or so. This new trend is a re-do.

It's a re-do of a re-do, had a pair when they were 'hot' in the mid-late 90's....i'm from the NY/NJ area

yeah. it's funny how things popular in the 70's are coming back. The "holes in the pants" and grown out hair reminds me of pictures of my dad when he had a 'fro and clarks.
