You mean the worst movie I saw in the cinema in 2005?
I only went to see two movies this year (mostly I rent movies - it's cheaper): War of the Worlds and Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and the latter one was better, although WOTW isn't bad if you watch it in a cinema where they have a good sound system.

I distinctly remember having an overwhelming urge to fast forward during Phantom of the Opera so that would have to be my pick.

Son of the Mask is by far the worst film this year

I don't remember if I watched a bad movie this year. The fact that it would have been a bad movie must have lead me to forget about it anyway

but I saw Pearl Harbour last night  :help:

War of the World's - only for the last 20 or so minutes which seem both rushed and boring  (also did they change it so the son lives? I'm sure I remember him dying in the original...)

Revolver - just ugh, my brain was seeping out of my eyes with the sheer insipidness and pointlessness of this film. Just stupid but tried too hard to be clever.

Brother's Grimm wasn't that bad....not if you love Heath Ledger like I do ;)

War of the Worlds was poop. Worst film in 2005 easily, even more terrible than the Wedding Crashers, which at least knew it was a rubbishy film! Spielberg, hold your head in shame ;)

Since this is about any movie we saw in 2005 I would def have to say Catwoman followed by the House of Wax. I looooove bad movies but these two weren't good bad movies. I couldn't even finish Catwoman and I love me a bad movie with hot chicks fighting it out. The House of Wax wasn’t far behind in badness. I actually finished that one but I lost a couple of brain cells in the process.

Revolver isn't Memento or Usual Suspects but it's not bad. It's a bit too chess oriented. Not many play chess.

Some movie about a fag falling in love with a Mormon missionary who knocked on his door...who of course makes the Mormon guy succumb to his inner gayness. It was very predictable and cliche'... (the flawless bodies, the token AIDS patient, the token over-the-top queen, etc) :tape:

Monster - In -Law, sucked dirty ass, I will never see another J. Lo movie ever again. and Batman Begins- It started off slow and I started to fall asleep early on when he was going through all of his so called "training regiment", how boring, and hasn't that been done many times before? It reminded me of the Karate Kid. But I think the movie took it self WAY to serious and was completely humorless. I will never see another Batman movie EVER. BOTH GET a 1 out of 5 Stars or a flat out D grade. Don't waste your time or brain energy with these two crap films.

Worst movie I paid money to see was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was alright but I was expecting it to be better. Same for King Kong... I wish I'd have waited for it to come out on DVD.

The absolute worst movie of 2005 was, in my opinon, War of the Worlds. I'm glad I stole it off the internet and didn't pay money to see that drivel.

I don't understand why everyone dislikes war of the worlds i really liked it. The ending was a bit cheesy but thats what happens in the book and from the view point of a biologist it makes perfect sense.
