Anybody else feel the same way?

I feel depressed.

My new years resolution? To make it through winter.

Everything goes wrong for me at this time of year.

I hate winter too. I wish I lived in a country where things like winter and snow don't exist.

Same here. Summer is my time to have fun, all that I'm doing during the winter months is sitting around, thinking about the past summer and waiting for the next one to come.

I totally understand you.
Canadian winter must be really depressing: cold cold cold white white white

until 2003 I detested winter as well (consider this: here there is never snow)
but in summer 2003 we had the most torrid weather I have ever had: for two months we had 40° C almost everyday......it was a true hell
since then I love winter: in my house the heating makes me stay 21° C night and day and it's a true paradise :)
so winter in Canada might be depressing but that's better than torrid summer :D (I mean, freezing winter is not the worst weather and season you can have)
cheer up!!!!!!

yah, thanks for all your posts.

I am in Germany however for my exchange program. And was great the first three months. But now I am seriously getting depressed. And it's not due to the cold outside, because it's not bad.
I guess I create my own problems! That's what sucks.

Any of you feel the same way. That when everything is supposed to go smoothly, you stand in your own way. And when it's winter then I just can't cope with it.

sucks.

Stupid winter that makes me feel this way :bigcry: :sobbing: :crying2: :rain:

I need someone to

the good news for you: the days are getting longer again. I think it's not winter that sucks for you but more the fact, that days are so short and it seems to be dark all the time.

When I am outside and everything is foggy and dark I try to think of a good suspense-movie and then I think it's kind of a cool atmosphere out here and I'm beginning to like it.

Plus: I love to dream about hot temperatures and walking around in nothing but t-shirt and shorts; if I would be able to do that all year long, I would not have something to look forward to.

So, just try to take things positive; there's nothing you could change about the weather anyway. Can you imagine how worse would the world be if we would be able to create our dreamweather?

So, just enjoy whatever you do; next sommer will come!

I like winter normally, just not this morning when I had to dig my car out of the snow and got really cold hands. Next thing the battery of my car was flat and at the garage it turned out my dynamo was not working properly either. Cost me 296 euro. :o

:wavey: Hey, if you're in Germany for some time, all you gotta do is hop on a train, head south and come down here in Italy. The weather may be slightly milder and sure as I'm here I won't deny you a hug or two

I prefer winter to summer actually. The only good thing about summer is that I get to play tennis. Other than that, I enjoy winter far more. :D

I don't like winter either but in the last few years, I think of it as a time to tangle myself in the bed sheets, drink warm hot chocolate, and when it's raining outside, there are very few things better than ordering some warm food and just watching movies all day :)

Ottawa has a range of temperatures from a record high of +37.8°C (100°F) in the summer of 1986 to a record low of -36.1°C (-33°F) being recorded in the winter of 1943, making it the second coldest capital city in the world. We either boil :fiery: or we freeze

for real, Toronto and Montreal :tape:

Canada is a country of extremes : sometimes too cold or too hot :fiery:

I only like snow when there is one or two centimetres of it and when it last 2 hours max :tape::lol:

but I prefer to put up with this cold then live in places where they have tornadoes, etc :bounce:
