Poor Marina :(

A shoulder injury has forced New Zealand No 1 Marina Erakovic to withdraw from the 2006 ASB Classic tennis tournament.
The injury ruled her out of tournaments in Israel and Dubai this month and she today confirmed playing the Auckland tournament next month would risk further aggravating it.
ASB Classic tournament director Richard Palmer said while it was disappointing, it was also important Erakovic didn't attempt to play before being fully fit.
Palmer said the Erakovic camp and tournament organisers had been in frequent contact with each other over the issue.
The withdrawal has created a space for a main draw wildcard which will be confirmed closer to the tournament.
Palmer earlier this month said he had no shortage of candidates willing to fill Erakovic's spot if she was not fit, but it was unlikely to be another New Zealander.
"I think, realistically, do we have another New Zealander who could benefit and be up to that level? I think at the moment we are probably struggling a bit in that sense," he said.
Erakovic is expected to look at playing again early next year.
