What do you think about female players that don't shave their armpits as Venus in their last Hamburg matches? Are there any other players that don't shave their armpits?

Venus usually shaves, she might have been a little uncareful latley but she usually shaves. :o Also she might be darker under her arms because of her color which sometimes makes it looks like she hasnt shaved, when she has.

It's absolutely disgusting. If someone does not want to shave their pits, at least wear a shirt with sleeves. Ick.

I think it's not disgusting. Remember Julia Roberts, she appeared with unshaven armpits in public!

Figures that you would make that comment... being the ignorant uncultured person you are.

I usually shave my armpits, out of habit. However I don't see why it should be considered disgusting to leave it. It's only natural, after all. Shaving arm pits and legs is something that became fashionable in the last decades. That's what it really is, fashion. When I was younger and didn't shave my legs, it didn't seem strange to me. Now I cannot image wearing shorts or a dress and not shave first.

Players should do whatever they feel comfortable with. I wish the press wouldn't make such a fuss over a trivial matter ( like they did when Julie Roberts showed up at a premiere).

Can you really see? Show me a picture...

And what is wrong with not shaving? maybe she was not careful? Or maybe, she just doesn't want to!

The whole thing about shaving is just another social image placed upon women by society. I do shave, but only in the summer season when my armpits will be exsposed. I only shave because I've been taught that women should. But if a woman was not supposed to have armpit hair, then why did God give it to her? I think that women should do exactly what they please with their bodies.

I'm not trying to be rude, but personally i don't like ladies who don't shave their armpits! i will absolutely tell my g/f or my friends or member of my family if they forgot to shave theirs! i think it's the most disgusting thing women could have in their body! please be clean ladies!

Ok, then men should shave their hairy parts too then, if it's a matter of being clean. Who says a person is not 'clean' if they don't shave under their arms? That's what deodorant is for.:p

Agree with HAIL VENUS. Does it really matter if a woman has hair on her armpits? It is natural afterall.

I work with a woman who has a slight moustache. Big deal! Doesn't mean she's not clean. (clean hygene, or clean looking)

All people should shave their armpits (men too), because it's more hygiŽnical. If you sweat, the hair absorbs it and you start smelling bad. Using deoderant just gets rid of the smel, but the sweat remains under your armpits.
But i can understand that sometimes, you're just to lazy to bother. I have that to sometimes.
