Amelie Mauresmo or Justine Henin Hardenne.
In my opinion its extremely difficult to say who has a better one, cause both are perfect. Personally I like Momo's a bit more than Justine's.

Juju's may be a lil better but I prefer Momo's

It pains me to say so but H.H. backhand is better. She hits through the ball so much more then MoMo does. MoMo's slice is deadlier tho I'd like to see her flatten it out a little more like H.H. Either way they are both very pretty shots and I'm glad some players are keeping the one hander alive.

Amé.She is able to do more more things with it than justine.

Both have truly gorgeous backhands, but only Justine's has ever made me gasp -- the deadly speed and power of it are absolutely shocking at times.

Can't wait to see it again. :hearts:

Mauresmo I think, Justine has a good one too but Justine has such a powerful forehand too, Mauresmo's forehand really hurds her on hard court so she really has to use that backahnd alot and i think its a huge weapon of hers.

Definitely Justine, see 2004 Olympic Final, when they exchanged backhand to backhand, Mauresmo's backhand is weak compared to Justine's, her backhand can not handle Justine's backhand, losing most of the point.

Justine's, just look at the stats... Justine won 4 GS titles and Olympic gold, partly because her backhand is more deadlier. Mauresmo's spin backhands can be amazing but Justine is able to generate far more power in her shots and that's why she is a better player in my opinion.

Actually, it was her forehand that got her those 4 GS titles and Olympic gold ;) Before her new and improved forehand, she would never have been able to hold her own against some of the players she beat along the way, most notably Kim. Her improved forehand made her game more complete, and opponents no longer had a shot to pick on her with.

Of course Amélie ;)

Justine's backhand won her Olympic gold; Momo can not deal with Justine' backhand in the Olympic final.

And the reason why Amelie had to go to Justine's backhand was because her forehand is now better so that it's NOT a weakness anymore ;) Get my logic? :)

I prefer Momo's but JuJu's is more efficient

Did you see when they exchange backhand to backhand, who won most of the points?

but Justine's forehand is the side that will break down
esp at Wimbledon against Daniilidou
I think Justine is just a better player overall
Justine has better shock value with her backhand but Mauresmo has a little more variety
Mauresmo slices a lot better and makes use of her backhand on grass better than Henin
Mauresmo can chip and charge/serve and volley better

There's no doubt about that. I'd like to see Justine work on those aspects of her game. Maybe Amé could teach her, since they're friends.

I'd also like to see Amélie herself use these strategies more often, rather than allow herself to set up a comfy dwelling place way behind the baseline, as so often happens when she gets nervous. :(
