For those of you that care, who do you think will win this match? Both players are world ranked, both have had very easy wins up to this stage of the tourney. I expect Leanne to come thru in straight sets, somthing like 64 62. Shona will be a good test. I like both players, but I love Leanne. I saw Leanne play yesterday, she looks very fit and eager to play. But her movement was still limited from her opp. For Shona to have any chance in this match, she needs to go for the lines and move Leanne around the court. If she lets Leanne settle into the match early, her serve could be way too mutch for Shona to handle.

Oh, and by the way..Leanne has been given the WC into the ASB Classic doubles, if she needs it. I think she will play with Fran L again, but I'm not sure.

I am also a big fan of Leanne and Francesca. I saw them almost 2 years ago, and they were really a fun team so I hope they stick it out together in 2006, although Francesca had quite a bit of success in Leanne's absence teaming with other partners. Regardless if they play together, I really hope they both have a strong season...I would love to see them both crack the top 100 in doubles and get a chance to play in the slams this year! :fiery: STUPID SYSTEM! :fiery:
