Arnaud Lagardere joined together, Tuesday at the stage Jean-Bouin, the gotha of the French sport to inaugurate the complex TEAM Lagardere, true center of scientific expertise for the high level sport. In presence in particular of Richard Gasquet, Mary Pierce and Gaël Monfils, the owner of the industrial group detailed with force this project which takes right now a special place in the French sport. The infrastructure will join together "the most pointed competences as regards research, of formation and sporting framing".
Arnaud Lagardere, with the service of the elite of the sport. Arnaud Lagardere does not make the things with half. For the inauguration of the center of expertise on the TEAM bearing his name, Tuesday, to the club of Jean-Bouin, the industrial rich person had invited to the festival the cream of the French sport. Thus, in addition to many tennismen forming part of the group already (Pierce, Gasquet, Monfils, Benneteau, Mahut, Di Pasquale in particular), Marie Perec, Stephan Diagana, Abdelatif Benazzi, Laura Flessel, Richard Dacoury, Tony Estanguet, Pascal Nice, Loïck Peyron, Jean-Philippe Gatien and others still answered present. For the majority, curiosity to discover this project of a new kind for the hexagonal sport, had pushed them to come to meet under a gigantic copiously furnished capital.
Pressed knowledge what it was of this technical center, these high level athletes and ex-athletes, could discover, mini-films and speech of the principal actors of this project to the support, to what this revolutionary platform was going to resemble on our territory. "Our ambition is to develop a true scientific center of expertises applied to the sport, joining together the most pointed competences as regards research, of formation and of sporting framing", Arnaud Lagardere announces.
More than 100 million spent euros... Concretely, this great sporting project whose cost is estimated at a hundred million euros, has as a principal objective "to optimize the methods of preparation to the performance", explains Xavier Moreau, the general manager of the TEAM. In this optics, the sportsmen will have at their disposal a "darkroom" where, vétus of a special combination, they will be able to see their movements measured by machines so correcting their possible defects. Moreover, one data base should also be born in order to facilitate the exchanges enter the various trainers and technicians of the sport. With term, a watery pole, a center of conference as of the solutions of lodging will complèteront the infrastructure. Some tennismen of the TEAM already could besides test the center. "I could test certain tools in particular for the service", launches Paul-Henri Mathieu. "And I am in a hurry really that all is set up to be able to progress", continues the Alsatian one. Waiting shared by Gaël Monfils: "I already could test the machine for the service. That can help me in the research of the perfect gesture. One in particular could see that the fact of drawing aside the feet at the time of the setting concerned does not bring anything more to me."
Dacoury: "a formidable tool" A technical heap of details delivered by instruments of high technology that certain former athletes would have to like to have at their disposal at time of their exploits. "ten years ago, it was necessary to leave France to profit from such infrastructures", underlines Marie Perec. The Olympic champion of the 200 and the 400 meters had been actually exiled in the United States during its career to discover a framework of drive to the point of progress. "It is a formidable tool with the service of the sport", releases Richard Dacoury, the most beautiful prize list of the hexagonal tennis shoe. Sport, and not of tennis exclusively, like specifies it old the star of the CSP Limoges. Indeed, if the TEAM Lagardere concentrates today mainly on tennis, ten million euros would already have been invested for the small yellow ball, the group intends to extend its mission to many sports. Thus, Rugby, the athletics, football, the table tennis or the field hockey should very quickly profit from the tools of the platform. With associated partners such as the Sporting Cock, started again by Robert-Louis Dreyfus, but also Sony France, the TEAM Lagardere can see far. Remain that if it convinced the assistance Tuesday afternoon, it from now on will have to pass to the practice. The second phase is engaged.

I taped a episode of how the RG is made into a two week tournament in France. I finally watched it today and it was really interesting. They showed different perspectives of the ball kids, referee's,media and of course merchadising.

Anyway, nice picture of them all.:) I saw Monfils play in Cincinatti and he is a great ball striker.
