Will Poala Suarez Return?

If she does, how will she do?

She will be back to the top 20 in no time! Good luck to Paola.

Poli will start in Auckland :D with SR 55, but I think she can't use SR in the Australian Open & her current ranking is not enough to play the Quali Draw
I hope she enjoy her last season   :hearts:

doubles will be no problem
singles i'd say will be difficult, but she'll be above average

She will be top 30 in singles, but not top 20
In doubles she will be top 5, but not top 1 or 2

It is more realistic that she will have the higher ranking in doubles. I have to disagree with you though, I think she can be top 1 or 2. Not too many points to defend except for the French Open. Suarez and Ruono-Pascual, best doubles team of this decade!

I'm sure she will. Last year she did so there's no reason why that can't happen again :hearts:

I thought Paola is not playing next year. Well if she does, I hope she returns ruling doubles and win some clay title next year.

Poala and Pascual are such a great team. I hope they win at least 1 GS next year because they look like they cherish every second of being on court and that's what every player should do-act as if they want to be there.

I don't think she'll be as strong as ever in singles, but as someone said, she'll be way above average.

And as for doubles...She and Vivi are still a top team. They could breeze through Roland Garros.

That'd be great, but Paola made this decision more than a year ago  Maybe, just maybe, being away from the tour made her want it more badly, but she's been without much motivation because of the traveling-being-away-from-home thing. She always says that Vivi is the one who has pushed her to keep playing, but that this time it's a definitive decision and she won't go back.

Let's just enjoy one more year and then we'll see what happens :D

Love Polly.

Why can't she use her SR for the Oz Open?

She may just squeeze into the QD (when you take out retuired players, Wildcards and a few players who won't come to OZ)

Yeah, after all the articles I've translated for people in here on this subject, I highly doubt she will change her mind, but we can still hope, right?!? ;) I do completely understand her decision though, a few years back due to visiting friends/studying/working abroad I was continuously travelling for 6 months and by the end I was going mad; all I wanted was to be in one place long enough to feel at home! I doubt I could last a year on tour, with all the travelling the players have to do, so I can't really criticise them when they say they are fed up with it!! lol! ;)

So long as I get to see Vivi & Paola win Wimbledon, after all the years we've been waiting for it to happen (*cough* damn Cara & Rennae! *cough* :p ), I'll be happy!!! :D

Besides, Paola probably wants to get started on her career as a politician :rolls:

I love you Poly, but I wouldn't vote for you  Just like I wouldn't vote Moria Casán just because her tits are huge and she decided to be the next Ciccolina
