No-one's started so I will. As Maria's season has now ended, we need to look to next year.

End Of Year 2006 Ranking: Number 2. (She will reach number 1 at some point during the year.)
Australian Open: Semi-Finals.
French Open: Quarter-Finals.
Wimbledon: Finalist.
US Open: Champion.
YEC: Champion.
Titles This Year: 7 (including USO and YEC)

I think Maria will really start to come good in the second part of the season. A lot will depend on the form of her main challengers: Linday, Kim, Amelie and Venus Williams. If she remains fit and healthy then I see no reason why she can't go on and do even better than my predictions. She will have learnt a lot from the past year and hopefully will have used the experiences to do better next year.

GOOD LUCK MARIA IN 2006! :)

PS. Oh I almost forgot. She will be part of the Russian team that successfully retainst the Fed Cup.

Im predicting another consistant year like last but a little better. I dont think she will start dominating untill 2007 but i think 1 slam is possible next year. Titles wise im thinking 5 or 6 and the slam will be the US or the Aussie open thats just what i think. Wimbledon maybe but im just thinking it will be a hard court slam next year if she wins one at all. But im hoping the injury will be much better next year.

It's so hard to predict anything right now, with her injury that keeps coming back, but without it I'm sure she has a good change to win a slam next year, except Roland Garros she could win all three, with a bit of luck too of course, title wise, I obviously want her to win more then last year, but I don't really care what kind of tournaments she wins, I just want to see her lift up another trophy! :)
