It doesnt matter what passport u have. Australian passport is the best password you can have. We dont need Visas to go into any country but every1 (i could be wrong) needs a visa to come here.

And even with ur british passport it doesnt let u live there for a short amount of time.

You STILL need to get a temp visa or what ever they might call it.

It's true pretty much everyone needs a visa to enter Australia either for tourism or business purposes. Luckily it takes less than a minute to get your visa online and the cost is 20 aussie dollars I think. In pounds sterling that's about 10p

Aussies do need visas to enter some countries. I was travelling with a guy down under in South America who was whinging about the need to apply for visas to enter a bunch of countries.... all in retaliation for the Aussie government making its citizens apply for visas.

If anyone is going to visit Australia next year, make sure you find time to visit Sydney the greatest city in all of Australia.

It DOES matter what passport you have if you want to WORK in another country. I DO NOT need a work visa to work in an EU country because I have an EU passport! :wavey: With my British passport it DOES actually let me live in any EU country! My Aussie passport DOES NOT allow me to do this, so actually, for me, the Aussie passport is NOT the best passport to have.

And you don't really need visa's to go into *many* countries with an EU passport either.

I just had a look at the Ticketek website, so far 11/25 sessions have completely sold out for the RLA, and pretty much only seats up the back of the upper section remain for the other sessions. If/when Hingis confirms, i'd imagine they'd sell a heap load of tickets for the early sessions of the tournament.

It makes me feel marginally better after purchasing a series package for every session!

Also, do they publish schedule, draws, etc for qualifying?

Just wondering, how does one get to Melbourne Park from the city during qualifying since there won't be free trams?

Also, do they publish schedule, draws, etc for qualifying?

You could catch the tram - although you'd have to pay for it.
Or you could just walk!

sure the schedules and stuff are on the net...and yeah, just pay to take the tram. It's only like a couple of bucks for a ticket I think. Or you can just walk down by the river (and then you come out on the right side of the stadium for entry to quallies - they only open the back enterance for quallies. :(

I'm going for the whole two weeks, it's just the most amazing time. Two weeks of tennis, 35 degree temperatures and lots of chiiling out watching the players. Ground passes are superb value for around $AU22(£10) and can be booked via phone and be picked up at the venue which is what i always do. Be sure to watch the juniors in the second week as they're always some quality matches with the future starlets.
