I thought I would share this dream I had with you last night, pretty weird * but indicative of how obsessed I am with Hopman Cup hehe :)
It goes like this:

I was walking down a street when I saw a copy of 'The West Australian' on a newspaper rack. I picked it up and looked on the back cover where it had something about the Hopman Cup. The article started off with something about Anna-Lena Groenefeld and how she would be some 'Official Guest' or something playing at the tournament. After reading this, the next bit was about China appearing at the tournament. It described how Shuai Peng would be teaming up with a Chinese bloke for their country. I can't tell you the male player's name because I don't remember it, and to be honest, is probably not even a real name. I think I saw something about Great Britain at the end of the article and that Andy Murray would be representing them. End Of Dream.

COMMENTS: This is a really weird dream, and I seriously doubt any of it is fact, although please, please invite Anna-Lena :). It would be really interesting if this premonition was real and China and Great Britain were invited. If this was true, you Serbian supporters would probably get your wish as I sense China and Great Britain would be Qualifiers and Serbia would get into the main draw. I don't think this is going to happen, but I just thought, 4 days out from the Announcement of the teams, this could add a little bit of excitement and anticipation as we all say 'Bring On Hopman'!

* No, I do not have a over-enthusiastic mind. I do not normally dream about stuff as peculiar and random as this. I can only remember one other dream from the past year or so, I do not live in a constant fantasy land :) Thanks for reading!!!

OMG gonefeldeffect, I'm glad I'm not the only one obsessed with HC, :p I mean I love this tournament, there is just something about it that makes me so excited and I'm glad you feel the same  . I first started being interested in tennis in 2003 I think, when I saw Iroda Tyluganova playing and she had belly button ring, painted nails, just looked so hot and since then I always love Hopman Cup, another thing I LOVE about Hopman Cup is the soundtrack, like you know when the tournament is about to start on ABC it has this eerie and so cool techno soundtrack not sure who sings it but it goes something like this "na ne no ni, na ne no ni, na ne noooonnneeeeee eeee" :silly: I think its Excalibur or something, I also like the music after a player wins it has this cool sound that goes something like "haeo hey heyo ohhhhohh heeeee" :silly: its just hard to explain  , I also cant wait untill those personal interviews where it helps you to know the players much better. Like last year Misa dad was like fishing and he got totally sunburnt :haha: and that guy took Daniela into a jewlery store but didnt buy her anything and then she just walked out so embarrassing :haha: and Myskinas picnic date

I really hope Gronefeld is invited cos I can empathise with you I'd die if Ana didn't show up  .

I've been the only one to suggest Great Britain as a possibility. Maybe I drilled it so deep into your subconscious that you're now dreaming about it. ;)

China would be a stretch since there were no Chinese males competing at the US Open, but I suppose anything is possible at this moment. :)

Sweet dreams. :p ;)

Fantastic... I think I know what may have actually caused me to dream that. I typed 'Andy Murray Hopman' into Google and saw something that said he may have been OFFERED an invitation with Baltacha :tape: Nothing more.

Regarding China... yeah, I think that was the wrong part of my dream. I think the name was 'Li Tie' I got in my dream, but he is a Chinese soccer player :p

I feel the same as you Ivanovic yeah... there is just that something that makes it awesome... I have never really payed much attention to the music but I will this year :)

I am sure your Ana will show up... now we just need my Anna :), that I am confident of will come.
