I think we should celebrate Sofia's entry this week into the Top 100 for the first time in her career. :bigclap::bigclap::bigclap: :yippee: :hatoff: :rocker: :aparty:  :clap2: :woohoo:

Well done, Sofia! I know it hasn't been easy. May you stay forevermore in the Top 100 and rise even farther in the coming months!

Yeah, really fun. Sofia has been playing really well this year.

Grattis Sofia! Jag hoppas att du fortsätter uppåt mot 50-strecket.

By defeating Serra-Zanetti last week, she solidified her place in the top 100. I think Janie is going by the rankings of the 26th, and not the upcoming rankings. It would seem she has gotten herself in better shape, and the results have starting to pour in. I said I wanted so badly for Sofia to break the top 100 in my thread celebrating Kloesel's feat, and I'm now hoping the same for the following players who've been all too close: Marie-Eve Pelletier, Varvara Lepchenko and Pitu Salerni! Let's hope the pattern continues!

I just hope she can be a steady top 50-70 player next year so she don´t have to go through the qualifying in every tournament.

yes, i was going by the current rankings. I should have credited fredbdx in my post, because it was in his latest thread of "WEEKLY STATS: Girls who reach their best ranking this week!" that I learned about Sofia's achievement. Thanks, fredbdx! I love those threads.

I also wish success to the players you name here, brunof, but as much as it pains me to say it, I have grave doubts about Pelletier. I would love to be proven wrong, though. Allez Marie-Eve, prove me wrong!
