I understood it was just because of typing speed but it made me smile because it was cute, so thank you.

When I type, I often write "teh" instead of "the" because I'm going too fast. :p

It Seems that retirement is near, ever since she injured herself at Palermo she ahs lost her next 4 matches and slumped to number 27. Before her injry this was a great year for Farina beating players like Venus Williams, Serena Williams, Patty Schnyder and Medina Garrigues.

Smashnova has also had a very solid year getting back into the top 50 and winning more matches then she has lost. She made the 3rd round of the Aus Open, made the Semi finals of Istanbul and won 2 tournaments in Modena and Budapest not dropping a set in both particularly in BUdapest where she did not drop more then 4 games in any match, she has beatem players like Koukalova, Likhovtseva, Jankovic, Pennetta and Farina. She should get herself back in the top 30 y the end of next year

Anna is very good against the Italians since she knows them very good- She live in Rome and I think she knows them personally very well...

I was at the match!
Anna made approx 3 errors in the whole match (and 5 winners)!! Silvia was not herself, she didn't even try at the end

Silvia really needs to sit down and decide what it is she wants to do. If this is the kind of injury that will not allow her to come back to the level she was at, then she needs to stop. Otherwise she needs to take the rest of the year off and get fit for Australia.

What she's doing now isn't benefitting in any way. Getting spanked by Kirilenko and Granville, losing to journeywomen like Vanessa Henke, and getting bageled by Smashnova on a fast indoor court is AWFUL.

It's terrible how badly Silvia is falling :crying2: :bigcry: She's not a Top 100 player at all at the moment.

I don't understand how a shoulder injury as made her play soooooooooooooo poorly

I just don't see Silvia getting back to anything near her early-season form. And her mentality isn't that good either. All she said when she lost to Henke was "It was cold and windy"

I really don't think she'll be back in 2006. She's really gone has far has she can

I disagree. Silvia does NOT need to retire. She's an awesome player and has years of tennis left in her.

But I do think she needs to take a break. Maybe skip the rest of this season and focus on next year.
