Sprem, ranked 85th, rallied after dropping the opening set to the 16th-ranked Likhovtseva. Sprem followed a string of aces with fine crosscourt returns and powerful down-the-line volleys. ``I know how she plays and she's aware of my game,'' Sprem said. ``After losing the first set, I kept telling myself that I'll have to fight back. From the second set, I began moving and hitting well.''

sounds good

kiki hitting aces again  :yeah:

Here's another report of the match which is not so wonderful for Sprem.

Likhovtseva won a scrappy first set which featured five breaks of serve. The 30-year-old dropped serve in game five of the second set before taking an injury break.

With Likhovtseva clearly struggling after treatment, Sprem wrapped up the final set, dashing hopes of an all-Russian final.

A disappointed Likhovtseva said: "I felt bad losing. But I couldn't serve, lost concentration and I couldn't run sideways."

So basically Lena lost cos she was injured

or, basically, sprem's in the final

if lena's injury was bad she wouldn't have played on

So basically Lena lost cos she was injured

Sadly for you, Sprem had won both their previous meetings in straight sets... and Lena was fine both times.

And then Lena went out and played a doubles match :retard: Shows how "injured" she was.

i'm just saying that whatever it was couldn't be that bad because:

1) she stayed on court and played out the match
2) she won a 2 hour doubles match later that day
