Do u think this sore knee will prevent her from playing in the upcoming weeks or the WTA Championships

I hope so...

I just want her to win more titles! :)

I hope she doesn't play Guangzhou. I hope she takes a week off and plays Filderstadt, instead of possibly injuring herself more against scrubs.

She said that the injury wasn't that serious that it would prevent her from competing next week. She will have a first round bye, which means she probably won't play until the middle of next week. If her knee doesn't heal by then, then I guess she will withdraw.

i really hope your right

There is no 1R Bye in Guangzhou

What exactly was the injury? Was in the knee problem she had in her match against Vives, or is it something new and what specifically is it?

there arent many details, on the WTA site it just says sore knee maybe she overworked in her warm-ups and probably doenst want to significantly hurt it, i guess she figures it will be fine with a few days of rest, hope thats the case at least and i hope it doesnt come back in any more tournaments

If there isn't, she isn't going to play on the first day of the tournament anyway since she is a seeded player. She'd probably play on Wednesday at the latest, if it is first round, second round, QF, SF and final format.

thats strange that were two byes given to the top seeds at Stockholm and not here where its a tier III and stockholme was tier IV

She isn't playing. This and Filderstandt. She overworked the knee in a warm-up.
