I hope her pulled muscle injury isn't serious and she can continue to play amazing tennis:) It didn't seem to bother her too much in this match;)!

I am afraid of Lena L. Out of all Russians, she´s the one I fear the most actually. Not just since the US Open

This is something I don't understand
I like Lena but her game shouldn't trouble Nastya that much!
But Nastya is just too kind to demolish her best friend on tour

I don't think game matchups really matter. Example: Myskina owns Dementieva even though Dementieva owns Mauresmo (at least in the past two years). However, except for her losses to Dementieva, Mauresmo hardly ever loses to Russians. If Dementieva owns Amelie and Amelie owns Myskina, then you could conclude that Dementieva would own Myskina as well. But as we all know this is not the case.

Good work Myskina. You better not find a way to lose in this tournament.

KOLKATA, India (Reuters) - Russian top seed Anastasia Myskina overcame a minor injury scare to reach the last four of the $170,000 Kolkata Open on Friday and remain on course for her first title of the year.

The 2004 French Open champion, who dropped just one game in each of the first two rounds, began slowly before defeating unseeded Indian Shikha Uberoi 6-4 6-2.

Uberoi, ranked 140 places below her rival, broke Myskina in the third game and went up 3-1 before the favorite rallied with breaks in the sixth and 10th.

The 24-year-old world number 12 later revealed she had started tentatively because of a niggling muscle problem.

"It was more a practice match for me," she said. "I pulled a muscle playing doubles yesterday, but once I was out there today it was getting warm and getting better."

Myskina faces unseeded Estonian Kaia Kanepi, who beat Sybille Bammer of Austria 7-5, 6-3 in another quarter-final.
