Another good win and finally a good result at the WTA level. I hope this is the beginning of fulfilling her promise. Still looking for someoe who can give me a pronounciation on her first name to make sure I have it right. I assume the Last name is Ka-ne-pi -- with a hard n sound?

What's her game like?
Big hitter, actually a huge ball striker when she has the time. She has a good serve also. Needs to get quicker, but has all the talent to be top 30 even top 20.

We're finally seeing part of that generation that promised a lot but never did too much, except for Razzano and maybe Kapros. Salerni was the #1 junior player the same year Kaia ended up as #3, according to the ITF Junior rankings, and you don't see a lot of big names there, except for Zvonareva, of course.

Go Kaia. Has she finally got rid of her injuries?
