The only rival for Masha - Venus is out.

1/4 Asagoe - This year she beat Asagoe twice.
1/2 Kirelnko - Masha won in LA this year 7:6 6:2
Sun - no problems for Masha too
Final
ALG - This year in Berlin on clay :o Masha won 62 62
Domachowska - Last year in Seoul Masha won 61 61 in 45 minut

she needs to overcome Asagoe first.
This match will be tough

Don't jinx her, so far the top seeds have fallen like a deck of cards. When the draw was released, it seemd like slam worthy semis were to be expcected.

Its still going to be a battle for Maria especially given her match yesterday...but its a big opportunity for her :)

Yes, Asagoe will be a strong match, but I think that Kirilenko isn't that easy too. In the final Masha will meet ALG and I think that Groenefeld is now better than she was in Berlin.

Asagoe has troubled Masha in the past and there are still some tough girls left in the tournament. Im hoping she will still win of course.

Shinobu gets alot of balls back and keeps running down anything. Maria will need to keep her errors low. Shinobu has no power and will not overpower Maria. Shinobu will try to make Maria make as many mistakes as possible. I hope Shinobu can win!!!

Groenefeld then was not half as good as Groenefeld now, so it could become quite a tricky affair.

Anna Lena has improved a lot, especially thanks to playing doubles with Martina Navratilova!!

...... quite a dissappointment for the tourney....
But yeah, none of the players left are a serious threat...
Sure they might take a set off her, but other than that, I don't see her losing...

who really cares at this point...whether she wins or not...its nothing to be that impressed by... :)

True.
However, last year she started to play better after a couple of weak tournament wins in Asia. The same may happen now. We will have a chance to check that in Filderstadt where she'll play against a stronger field.

she hasnt played badly recently imo  ...venus was better at wimbledon....she was injured for the summer..kim was better at the us open...she's played pretty well this year...its just she's been outplayed in all the big matches...

I also think that ALG has improved her game, but I still can't see her beating Maria. But stranger things have happened in this tournament already so lets not declare the winner yet.

I didn't say she played badly. I said she may start to play BETTER after a win in Asia. Like she did last year.

Well it's still true because Masha did win, just not the one that was implied!
