"There won't be any chance for Williams to put her foot in her mouth again, either.

The two-time champion caused a stir the first week of the Open with her apparent cluelessness about the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. She'd finally gotten past that when she showed a surprising lack of graciousness toward Clijsters, one of the nicest players on the tour.

Asked about the turning point in their match, where Williams was serving with a 4-2 lead in the second set, she blamed Clijsters.

"I was playing decent and she started playing really bad and it totally threw me off,'' Williams said. "She started hitting these really weird shots and short balls, just weird stuff. It threw my game off. Next thing I knew, I was playing as bad as she was.''

Yeah, and holding serve once more the rest of the match had nothing to do with it."

This was taken out of context....stop judging her from this....read the whole article, she gives Clijsters all sorts of credit...if you take this and assume this was what ehr entire explanation was than you're a moron...

if you read the whole article you come to the conclusion that Venus blames Kim for her (Venus') bad play... Kim's "weird shots" caused her to play badly...

To be a true professional one must be a Gracious Winner, and a Gracious Loser!!

Neither of the sisters (Williams) show congrats to their competors. Needless to say they do have talent, they just lack class.!

Peace out!
