National Nine News

By ninemsn staff

Paris Hilton has reportedly dumped her fiancÚ of the same name after it was revealed he had neglected to tell his parents of the impending nuptials.

The oversight came to light two weeks ago at a special engagement party the Hilton heiress had arranged for her family and that of her husband-to-be, Paris Latsis.

It seems incredible news of the wedding had not filtered through to Greece, where the billionaire Latsis family live, but one set of guests at the intimate family get together did seem a little confused, British tabloid News of the World reported yesterday.

The father of the secretive groom-to-be, Grigoris Kasidokstas, has now refused to allow his son to marry and Paris Hilton, who is said to be mortified, has ditched Paris.

"It was like a bad scene out of Meet The Parents," a source told the newspaper.

"Two of the world's richest families meet to celebrate their kids' engagement, but one set of parents know nothing about it.

"Grigoris also thinks his son is too young to be tying the knot and has cast doubts on how serious the relationship is. It's all very embarrassing.

"It wasn't that Paris didn't want to tell his parents. He just never got round to doing it properly. But if he wants Paris back he'll have to do a lot of grovelling."

Paris is good for a quick fuck but as a wife.... I don't see it. I guess she will have to let a few years pass and clean up her image like Madona did, then we can all pretend that they were always "good girls" and didn't greet every guy they ever met by riding their stick.

Their relationship was widely known here in Greece..it was all over newspapers and gossip tv programms..Probably his parents didn't want them to get married, but for sure they knew about their relationship. ;)

when you are that wealthy you can completely shield yourself of from the world and only hang out with other billionaries.

ok two examples:
this is if you are not even anywhere near is rich as they are:
in nyc there are movie theathers that have first class seating. you use a private entrance sit in plush leather seats, have your food brought to you, and i think there is a private bath room and exits.

first class travel accomodations, usually include access to the first class waiting room. with drinks (wine and cheese), bag handling, great lighting, and sometimes live music and other mess. no loud tv's tuned to fox either.

God, I'm stunned! If Paris and Paris couldn't make it as a couple, there's no hope at all for the rest of us schmoes.
