for some reason my laptop is not charging. The wire has to be fiddled with until it actually says that it's charging, now it won't charge my battery at all, can someone explain to me what I have to do to fix this

You need a new cord. The one you have has a short in it. Try your local electronics store, who should have a replacement. If you have the time, shop e-bay.

I had the same problem with mine fairly recently, and it was a little wire in the cord that had broken. Someone did a temporary repair on it to keep it going, but ultimately it needs a new cord

Or it is the battery. Happened to mine. I hope it's not that as the battery is more expansive than a cord.

My bro had the same problem, it didnīt charge even though the plug was in and when he moved it a little bit, it started to work but then again it was not.

His guarantee hadnīt expired yet so he sent it in and they actually said itīs not a problem with the plug but with something inside of it. So probably not even a new cord will help. They also changed the battery.
