Ruth Fisher- Died Naturally
David Fisher- Died Naturally
Claire Fisher- Died Naturally
Brenda (????)- Died Naturally(having an Orgasm w/Billie)
RICO- Died Naturally
KEITH- GOT SHOT and ROBBED???? WTF? Why did he have to die so Violently?

Does anyone know the name of the song that was playing when they were doing the flashforward scenes with everyone dying.

Footfault I definitely feel you on the racist conspiracy theory. I half expected Rico to die playing dominoes outside the bodega.

I'm pretty sure Billy wasn't giving Brenda an orgasm. I think he was talking about Claire.

They did a terrible job with aging the characters. Maybe it was on purpose? I hope.

Don't worry I found the song.

It is Breathe Me by Sia

I am not saying that they were falling for stereotypes. It is just less than imaginative that Keith dies of a violent crime. The stereotypical way black men are perceived to die.

Anyways great episode, I am going to miss the show.

Dying naturally isn't exactly creative writing, either. I think Alan Ball could've done a much better job on the last ten minutes. And Claire marrying Ted after not seeing him for years? Blah.

Still, it was a great way to end an amazing show.

HBO better line up some new dramas [Rome looks like shit], because all they have left now is The Wire.

She was so masturbating, I went and tivoed it and she was definitely fingering herself. Nate alwasy said that Billy is the only man she would truly ever love.

I am so glad that the wire is coming back. The way they left it last season it looked like they were trying to wrap up the stories like they were being cancelled. Too bad many people don't know about the show.

I LOVE The Wire. It is a shame that no one watches it. I think it's because it's such a complex show; it's not something one can just turn on during the middle of the season and understand. I was devastated at last season's final two episodes, cos I thought for sure they would not bring the show back.

I hope HBO brings a show back to NYC. Right now, everything is based in LA. That Lisa Kudrow show is the worst thing I've ever seen on HBO. What the fuck were they thinking?

They have another comedy coming out sometime early next year called "American Dream" created by Louis C.K. (and co-starring comic genius Jim Norton). From what I have heard it is going to be a sitcom type but unfortunately it is being taped in L.A. (don't know where the show is supposed to be set in). I will check it out just for Norton.

I so did not see Brenda fingering herself! I'll have to watch that again tomorrow night but Billy was just talking... why the fuck would Brenda be masturbating? And anyway, that whole "sibling romance" thing was thrown out the window in the second to last episode. Also, in one of the clips (I think the one of David and Keith getting married), Brenda is shown holding hands with another man who has Brenda's daughter on her lap.

I didn't see either of Keith's sons holding hands with a white man... when was that?

And as for the "racist conspiracy"... not at all racist!!! He's a cop, so it's not that unpredictable or unrealistic that he die violently. No one else on the show had a violent profession. Jeez, the nerve of some people.

The aging of the characters was supposed to be extreme and over-the-top, I felt. I didn't cry, but I thought it was a beautiful episode. One of the best of just a decent final season! So sad that it's over but I'm very pleased to get such closure and not to be left sad or confused.

You do realize that I would be forking over about $50 a month just for a few extra channels and HBO? I have to weigh the pluses and minuses of that. Will have to decide soon since I want to make sure I can watch the new batch of comedy specials that they taped a few months ago.

That soon? I guess that would explain why Season 4 is coming out on DVD a week from Tuesday.

It's not just HBO. It would be the cost of me having to bump up from basic cable to digital cable. I have basic cable but they are only charging me for the really basic cable (like three channels) so right there is a $15 a month difference. Figure in the cost of bumping that up to digital would be about another $20. Renting the box and getting the HBO package would be about another $15 or so. There are other channels that I would like to get that I could get via digital and it would give me a DVR but I have too many other expenses coming up that I might have to pass yet again. Am very tempted though. The fact that my pop culture obsessed ass doesn't have digital cable boggles my mind.

I have Comcast. The bill would be over $100 a month since I have internet through them as well.

At Claire's wedding...if you rewatch when Keith and David got married, you'll see the older boy next to Brenda...and then it's the same dude at Claire's wedding holding the guys hand.

I'll just chime in that one of the boys, probably anthony, was with an asian guy and the other son was with a woman.

oh and if you notice keith was a guard for his own charles security company so maybe he liked to keep working in the trucks instead of an office which totally sounds like keith.

It was sad how keith went but when david saw him at the picnic it was priceless and moving.

You guys, a lot of questions raised here are answered on www.hbo.com (http://www.hbo.com). They have obituaries for all the cast. David did end up with another guy. Rachael did remarry and have another child. David and Keith had three grandchildren, but no mention is made about the sexuality of he two boys he adopted.

I was disturbed by this as well. And if you noticed, it was his own security truck/business and he was like 50 years old. I don't think the owner of the security business would be unloading money, at his age.

Take it from me, an Oscar-winning actress having been in the biz for over 70 years. The Lisa Kudrow thing is unwatchable. I really like her and I've sat clean through 3, which was really painful, it's just not watchable. I'd rather see her rehash Phoebe than this. HBO's current programming stinks.

Ugh, I'm offended that you'd think I was republican. And stop with the race card. People get shot of both races... I can't believe I need to point this out. The truth is, Keith had the highest risk job of all the characters so it's most realistic with him. And it's not like the other characters' deaths were that wonderful and pleasant just because they weren't shot.

Help, I have done it again
I have been here many times before
Hurt myself again today
And, the worst part is there's no-one else to blame

Be my friend
Hold me, wrap me up
Unfold me
I am small
I'm needy
Warm me up
And breathe me

Ouch I have lost myself again
Lost myself and I am nowhere to be found,
Yeah I think that I might break
I've lost myself again and I feel unsafe

Be my friend
Hold me, wrap me up
Unfold me
I am small
I'm needy
Warm me up
And breathe me

OH MY GOD!! It was an AMAZING finale..

I cried soooo much! I think I was crying due to a combo of what was actually going on, and the fact that my favourite ever show is no longer around, and it also brought up so much of my own baggage around death of friends etc.

Most MEMORABLE scenes - the one where Ruth and Brenda are on the staircase and agree to put the past behind them, the scene with Claire and Ruth where Claire offers to stay and her mum says done make the same mistake she did, and the scene where the whole family sits around the table remembering Nate and toasting him - Brenda gets over her anger and toasts Nate as well..

It was fucking mind blowing.

And please get over the racial thing - not all the characters could live to be extremely old..Keith was working for his armed security guard company - nature of the business to have more risk of violent death associated with it.

I just cant believe theres no more to look forward to.
