I saw that before.
The cop was OBVIOUSLY wrong.
Although, the girl should have handled it a little better. But she was underage.

yeah what a fuckin' idiot cop, maybe he should have seen that there were no twenties in the register...

i think the girl should not have argued and stayed calm, but that cop still shouldn't have sprayed the poor underage girl

hey, at least she got $60, 000

The girl or the cop??

What a stupid question...it's obvious that even if that stupid cop would have given her $20 (which is clear that he didn't) he's got no right to do that to anyone, let alone a 17 yo girl.

Damn that racist cop :armed:

Here we go again...what the f*ck racism has to do with this?

Good thing she got the 60K :yeah:

I agree with spiceboy: I bet that cop would have acted the same no matter what skin colour that girl has.

edit: To think about it. If the girl would have been a hot model, he would never had done that

It's quite possible to give 10$ and think you gave 20$, but I bet the police would have believed a white girl. At least he wouldn't have sprayed a white girl. Of course, not knowing the cop, I might be wrong. Maybe he's equally asshole to everyone

Obviously the cop is wrong in this situation. The manager told him she didn't have a $20 in her register. Okay, so her language was quite rough, but he was accusing her of something she didn't do. What kind of jury couldn't find fault with what he did? :smash:

Side note...how do they know she was making minimum wage? Very few places pay minimum wage these days...most pay more. That comment at the top of the tape was irrelevent to the story.

Wow. He sprayed her with the pepper spray. She was in the right! That cop was an asshole. I would have been raising hell to. Injustice is just intolerable.
That cop knew damn well he gave her a ten.
The pepper spray shit was uncalled for.
OMG this makes me so angry.
I'm sorry if people diasagree with me, but I can totally see how racism could have played into this situation. I'm not saying it did; the cop could just be a dick. But I wouldn't be surprised.
Atleast she got $60,000. That really doesn't pay for the humility, trauma, and stress she went through during the incident.
