In Filderstadt, I think so. There´s the possibility of injuries, yes, but most of the players should be fine.

the WC from the last 4 years

2004 - Dechy - Weingärtner - Grönefeld
2003 - Pistolesi - Pierce - Grönefeld
2002 - Shaughnessy - Schett - Rittner
2001 - Raymond - Schnyder - Majoli

Dechy and Pistolesi would have gone in with her regular ranking, but it sems they missed to enter or entered to late so they got a WC 2003 and 2004
we will see who will get the 3rd WC this year, or better said who will get the 2nd and the 3rd
because i´m not 100% sure about Schruff

Andrea Petkovic says that she can do that. She said there is a qualifer tourney for an addional Qualifier WC as well, but I don't know whether that is true.

Yeah some tournaments have "pre-quallifying" to decide one of the quallies WCs - they do it for the AO and I know Antwerpen does it too... :D

I'm really shocked that Lindsay didn't commit, I mean, she often said that she loves the tournament and she really likes to play there, I mean she played there every year when she was healthy. I think Svetlana need a break from tennis, I understand her. Mary said she will take a longer break after the Fed Cup, so I'm not surprised she isn't schedules although she's a former champion. Vera is playing in Tokyo that week. Nicole, Tatiana and Gisela are playing Tokyo, too. I'm sure ALG will play as she will get a WC, but I'm not sure about Medina-Garrigues. :)
