Just for fun, here are the top ten players (in my opinion) of the first half of 2005!

One of the elite PAW players, who has enjoyed great success in 2005. Though slightly erratic, she is fearless.

Best newcomer of the year, though it will be interesting to see if he can keep it up.

Has a different strategy to other players, the way he uses his PAWs up during the opening rounds and rarely PAWs the semi final or final- but it works very effectively! It will be interesting to see how he performs when he has points to defend.

A true great sportsman and very consistent. Always one to watch out for at every tournament. A great role model.

In my opinion, a silent achiever. He goes about his way silently but with consistent results. Has risen considerably and deservedly this year.

Another great sportsman, who's also very consistent. Though he recently slipped out of the top ten, he had hundreds of points to defend, so it comes as no suprise. A great idol.

One of the most consistent players of all time. Currently at #3 in the world he is unstoppable once he starts.

Fearless. Has won a handful of titles this year, and seems to be one of the more consistent newcomers. A great player for the future if he continues to play.

Friendly and enjoys PAW for what it is. What more do you want? Along with that, he just so happens to be a Grand Slam champion.

I'm not biased! He is top 10 material in every tournament he plays. Roland Garros Champion- flawless on clay and impeccable on grass and hard. What more can I say?
