Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think Mary Pierce has ever won a match on the Centre Court of Wimbledon. Pretty amazing for a 2 time grand slam winner and former world number 3. Any other players who had a 100% losing record on a main Grand Slam stadium court.

Mary's Centre Court appearances.

1995 - 2R - Lost To Nathalie Tauziat
1996 - QF - Lost to Kimiko Date
1997 - 4R - Lost to Arantxa Sanchez Vicario
2000 - 2R - Lost to Magui Serna
2005 - QF - Lost to Venus Williams

That's interesting. Mary least comfortable surface is grass. Mary has also said that she dislikes Wimbledon because the ppl are snobs and transport to and fro the arena is not supplied like the other slams and tournaments. She did say this a long time ago so I don't know if her mind has changed now she won the mixed doulbes title. Speaking of the mixed title, Mary has won on centre court! She won the mixed title on centre court!
